I own a full size Springfield 45 1911 easy to put on and fits perfectly especially if you're trying to go minimalistic you don't have to worry about to find a proper holster just grab and go and spending an arm and a legBut racking the slide sometimes your finger hits it'ssuggestions on racking you fire arm pinching the back or flat Palm on top

Some holsters are just a pain if you are a bigger guy. I use a Techna Clip on my LC9 and liked it enough to try it with my 1911. Works great! I can now comfortably carry my 1911 in any position I can fit it in. You do get some friction with gun to skin, so I always tend to wear a t-shirt when I carry, but that's more to being a big fella than anything but it's still something to keep in mind since there's no holster backing between the gun and you.

Like the convenience, but it's so tight. Will have to work it in.Easy install, though I wish it came with the grip removal bit.

I bought the Techna clip for my Colt Mustang. The colt Mustang has a government model compact frame. There was no way I could make the clip work even if I took a grinder to it. It blocked the ejection port when lined up over the mounting holes under the grip. I sent the clip back to Amazon and emailed the company that makes the clip. I told them in the email that I bought the compact 911 clip, I told them for what gun I was purchasing the clip, I even sent them pictures of the gun with the grip off and the clip in place over the mounting holes. I asked them if they offered another clip that would fit my Colt Mustang. They wrote back and asked me If I purchased the 911 full size clip or the 911 compact clip. Evidently they didn't read my email. Just last week I resent the email and am still waiting for a reply.I bought a Techna clip for my S&W Body Guard and it works great. That is why I bought the clip for the Colt with hopes that it would be as good.

Exactly what I was looking for, I have to remove my pistol often and prefer not to deal with a holster because of this. This secures the pistol inside the waistband very well. It does ride on the slide a bit and will take some finish off. I have slim grips on my 1911, and had to find regular length grip screws to attach it. Love it!

Have installed on my compact 1911...seems perfect if you’re like me and don’t want even the small added bulk of a holster. Deployment seems smooth...have not shot with it installed yet. Will update if there is any ejection issue however I’ve seen many reviews claiming no issue there. The clip will add a slight width change to your grip plate but not uncomfortably so or too noticeable.
