GCS Handmade Survival Hunting Knife and Bowie Dagger Black G10 Handle with Brown Leather Right or Left Hand Horizontal Fixed Blade Knife Sheath & Sharpening Stone (D2-16.5" Trail Master)

The handle has some small imperfections making it seem like it's hand made. The blade is big and has more features than I expected. The center of the blade is somewhat hallow ground like it's a big blood curl. It makes the knife feel more expensive than if the blade had been left flat. The sheath is a monster that swallows almost the whole knife leaving only an inch or two of the handle showing. I'm not sure why it has two double snapped bands on it but I like it. I put a lanyard on the knife and I can fasten the lanyard between two of the snaps on one straps to hold the knife in the sheath if I bend over. If using the two bands to hold the sheath to a pack, I can still release the lanyard from the first snap to access the knife without releasing the second snap so the sheath stays attached to the pack. The pouch on the sheath is big enough to hold a three inch stone. It may not be the most practical knife I own, but seems sturdy enough for just about anything you would care to use it for.

Nice long and keen blade,perfect handle and great well made sheath. I own several GCS knives and intend to buy more.

Used this knife 3 times I hit the branch four times and on the fourth time it snapped complete crap the steel was not tempered or heat treated right at all

This is a truly awesome weapon. Not really a practical tool knife, but the fest fighting knife I own. The blade is very thick but it doesn't feel to heavy. It came oiled and razor sharp, and it has a nice hollow grind and fuller. The handle is adequately comfortable but I little slippery. Great sheath.

I like the well made, well balanced and I use the knife to put animals when I’m hunting down in allows me to reach the vital organs if needed

Beautiful.The handle gives me slight worry, but the warranty is good enough for me.The blade is crisp and clean. The sheath is just odd. Not sure why there are the two straps there and I really wish the whetstone had come with it to put in the pocket.The blade is weighted evenly. It did not arrive as sharp as I'd like, but I will remedy that later.Well, I'm off to Mordor now.

Very fast shipping time! The knife is very well done in fit and finish, and is sturdy d2 steel. This is a very large knife. It is more similar in size to a Roman Gladius. Also, I was pleasently surprised at the quality of the sheath. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. I will definitely buy more from GCS.

Absolutely amazingly sharp, polished, balanced. Just perfect beyond belief am very impressed. Blade was covered in oil when first arrived quick wipe down and you got your self a amazing blade.
