It is great
It is a perfect fit for my sons clarinet. It is durable and it adjusts easily. Definitely worth the money. He uses it for Marching band for almost two years now and even in the weather conditions it looks brand new.

Won't fit a Jupiter clarinet
The lyre itself seems to be well made but my problem with it is it doesn't fit a Jupiter clarinet. Otherwise it seems to be appropriate weight and it again seems to be well made.

Read this before you send it back if you think you've got a broken one.
Ok, we ordered one and returned it thinking it was broken. It didn't have the threads on the screw hole so we were unable to tighten the lyre on the clarinet. The problem was just that the screw was in the wrong side. Take out the screw and stick it in the opposite direction and it works fine. Next problem is that the lyre isn't straight. If you look at the picture you have the ring that hooks onto your clarinet, then a washer (for lack of a better word) and then the actual lyre. There are 3 main pieces. If you loosen the washer and then retighten the ring you can eventually line up the lyre and ring so it's straight. Sturdy lyre, works great.

Nice but no packaging
As described but tossed in a brown shipping envelope with no packaging or label on item inside. Makes me think it was likely returned or used. Definitely not professional in the way it was packaged and shipped.

Does what it’s supposed to do
Son used it all of this year’s marching season. Still in great shape. Good value for the money .

Too small, doesn’t screw on right
This did not fit around any part of my clarinet and could not close properly around it. When I tried to screw on the clip it didn’t screw on properly. It also was way too weak to hold my music.

Quality
Lasted all marching season without breaking. More expensive music store band broke within a week of purchase. This replaced that and is still going after 4 day week practices, games and competitions!!!!

Flimsy quality
It took a while to put on because it came bent. My daughter’s band teacher had to unbend it to get it on. Then, after she had practiced with it once, it broke the night of her parade. Had to fix with tape, but still turned out pretty useless. Everyone in her class had bought the same one and didn’t seem to have issues, so we wonder if it was just ours, or we just weren’t handling it right. Overall, not worth the buy.
