I really like how the desk turned out. I will say, It was not very easy to put together. I put it together by myself, but It would have helped a lot if i had another person. I watched the youtube video from the brand itself titled “ Techni Mobili Home office workstation with storage Assembly Video”. It helped me a lot. Make sure to pay very close attention to directions. I had a few slip ups & thought the desk was the problem but it was just me not paying close enough attention to detail. The directions are VERY specific. If something doesn't fit quite right, go back & make sure you did everything correctly. Despite this desk being difficult, It is a good & sturdy desk that i recommend to others.

Easy to build. Only took 2hrs, I was worried because some of the reviews made it seem like it was hard to build but it wasn’t and the QR code to watch the video on how to build was very helpful.

I bought this desk for my college apartment, and I was looking for something with side drawers that would go with my room decor. It came pretty much on time, and I had one of my friends set it up for me (since she wanted to, she likes building things). The desk wasn't overly difficult to set up, but it took her a little under three hours to build it by herself. I don't know why, but in assembly the company deliberately chose not to pre-drill the holes that need to be there. Why?? We didn't have a drill, so she had to manually make the holes herself which was tedious. The wood is not solid slats, it's that weird mulch made of wood chips (which is fine). The finish is very smooth and shiny, almost like plastic, but brings me to my biggest complaint. The front edge of the desk is SHARP. As I'm sitting here typing this review, my forearms are being scratched up by the edge of the desk. I could probably sand it down, but first: I don't think I should have to do that, and second: I'm afraid the paint will start peeling away if I sand down these edges. The drawers have a little too much resistance for my liking, but apparently as I use them more they'll get smoother so we'll see about that. Honestly, if you're looking for a cheap desk this one will do, but I don't plan on keeping it long term. It doesn't have a ton of leg room if the desk is against a wall, but that's kind of implied by the pictures.

Desk is made cheaply and fabricated holes didn’t line up. Difficult to put together. Draws didn't go in correctly. Awful!!!

You never know what to expect on a less expensive option, but this desk was a pleasant surprise. It was relatively easy to install and the final product looks great! Great for small apartments like mine. The clean lines and glossy finish add that touch of modern as well. Definitely recommend!

I followed the instructions on the video and I see caps between the drawers

This is exactly what I needed. I just needed a small desk in my room to use as an office desk. It wasn't difficult to put together, at least for my husband lol. It's a little more narrow than I need it to be to put the checkbook in front of the laptop, but I make it work. I'm glad I purchased it.
