DMC1008F-S5200 Shiny Radiant Satin Floss, Snow White, 8.7-Yard

Will look beautiful embroidered on this linen.

I didn’t use it for how it was intended. I hung pendants on them for display. The strings shredded and broke as people removed them from the hangers they were on. Definitely not silk.

Very pretty but slippery and hard to work with. Perhaps I don’t have the skill required.

Since the pandemic, I refuse to go out of my house. Too many people refuse to wear masks, therefore are endangering those they come into contact with. Since I don't go out, I can't get to JoAnn's to buy embroidery floss. I used the silver floss to embroider initials on a custom quilt I made for a client. See the photo.

I was not a fan as it was hard to work with. I'm just starting to embroider again after being away many years. Maybe once I have more experience I will be better at using it.

The product itself is fine, soft and metallic. My issue is with the seller. Ionly recieved one skien of floss, though I'm sure it meets the advertised measurement. They were nice enough to send it in the original box which clearly states there was meant to be six. Nice to know. Would ha e gladly paid a little more for all of it.

I got this for a Star Wars lightsaber cross stitch project. It worked just fine. I couldn't get this locally, I had been to every craft supply store in my town, no luck. I am aware that satins as with the metallics can be rather finicky and difficult to work with. I have worked with metallic floss and some satins for years. I just have to be more careful. I don't have any problems with this floss. It does add something nice to the projects.

I bought this thinking it was a fantastic deal for DMC thread to do my outlines on cross stitch. When my amazon package arrived, these were thrown in loosely and were all over the box. On top of that, it was like buying store seconds - the loops were pulled all over the place. Though I love the silky shiny feel, and think it will give my projects a cool look, I definitely recommend keeping in mind you may get pulled threads, tangled messes when buying in bulk. I love DMC, as it's quite nice quality to work with, but this is definitely a "you get what you pay for" situation.

Do not buy... it defeats the purpose if the floss come all black and stained.. if you don’t mind it stained then purchase
