It presses way too hard on thicker guitar necks to the point that the strings go pretty sharp. On my electric with a wizard neck it works like a dream. Opens up a lot of possibilities especially with open tunings.

Excellent Product and Transaction

I bought two of these for both of my performance guitars. They are fantastic at keeping the correct fret pressed down with no buzzing, regardless of where of the fret it's located. I also love how I can just roll it into the headstock when I don't need it.However, I purchased this thinking I'd be able to side it easily between frets while playing. I wanted to be able to do a key change without actually changing up the chords. But it's very difficult to slide in the middle of a song without coming to a full stop.Regardless, I'm very happy with how they work and how durable they are. I just wish they were easier to slide mid-strum

Takes a little getting used to this new style capo but once you get it applied correctly it works well and is small and not in the way under the neck of the guitar as are the clamp on type. Easy to “roll”!up and down the frets and guitar seems to stay in tune when doing so. Even though this is new to me and I have a lot more playing time to give another review, I do recommend this capo. Give it a try. It will help advance your playing Only down shot is it is a bit expensive, but for the price Amazon charges you get 2 capos. Nice for my other guitar or foe friends I jam with. Yes, I’m happy I made this purchase and I would buy it again

I would have given it Five Stars for many reasons, but I have found that with a thicker guitar neck, the fit seems a bit too tight and therefore I do not use them on guitars with a thicker neck. Other than that- Great Product. I bought the 2-pack and am glad I did as it seems I am always looking for Capos of which I have Many!!!

High quality and well-built. Not QUITE as easy to put on as in the video, but once on works well. The ability to slide it up and down the neck is terrific for key changes mid-song. I imagine it's phenomenal with open tunings, which I don't really do.

My brother bought this a while back and I thought it was pretty cool then. Now that I’ve bought my own and had a chance to test drive it, I recommend this capo. It’s a lot easier to use as it keeps your tuning precise almost anywhere between frets. With my other capos, I have to get them just right on the neck or tweak a string or two. Not with this capo. Good purchase for sure.
