Sensory Play Bumpie Ball Wiggles & Jiggles Good for Motor Skills

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this sensory vibrating ball for my three month old; in hindsight this was too young. The plastic is quite hard and the jolts quite strong, and so a baby that can’t grab, sit or hasn’t got much control of their movement could easily get a nasty knock. When I purchased it I was under the impression that the points were going to be a softer, foamy material. They’re not, they’re hard, solid plastic. No accidents were had on our end, but we had to do an awful lot of shielding.My daughter is now two, and she started really enjoying this closer to the age of 1. She still loves it. It became a particular favourite when she learned to press the green button to get it moving. This is quite a fiddly fine motor skill; it requires a certain amount of finger strength to apply the right amount of pressure in a specific area. Now that she can do this she loves setting it off and watching it move around.If used a lot, the batteries run down really quickly. When the batteries are running low it wobbles for a much shorter period of time, there’s often a lag to it starting after pressing the button and sometimes you even have to give it a bit of a jiggle to get it moving. It’s a slight pain to change the batteries - you need a screwdriver on hand.All in all it’s a really fun toy though and decent value for money. It’s a nice added bonus that the colour is also lovely.

This had a sticker on it saying £8.I was charged nearly twice the price!I'm very annoyed.Otherwise it's a good sensory toy which my grandson loves.

My baby loved this but the battery only lasted a week, for the price of the item better batteries should be provided

Smaller than expected, not quite like the ones fr the 90s/00s however baby will love it just the same. Fast delivery, pleased overall 😀
