I love a fun pin for my computer backpack. It replaced a pirate flag that broke off a few months ago and I love it. The 2 separate pieces make it a little less snag-able and more versatile. Granted, I'll be keeping the skull and crossbones together, but I wouldn't have to.

I actually like that this comes in two pieces. I wear it to hold the feathers on my pirate hat. Wonderful pin!

Nice large two-piece pin with good detail. The top and bottom both look good. Some people might prefer a smaller pin with an integrated design. This is in two parts.

Although the skull and bones separate you can make the as spaced as you want to and the item is big but at least the person in front of you does not have to squint to see your pins, its nice and a good size for the price tag I have searched high and low and I have a very discriminating taste when it comes to skull & cross bones patches pins etc, and yes they meet my standards and even exceed them as well as I have said I have a very discriminating taste these pins aren't the run of the mill cheap junk but very well made and feel they are made to last real pewter not flimsy pins, they look and feel nice a must for any steam pirate rock and roll person and one who loves piracy and death on the high seas kinda stuff Arrr ya matey or is like me just a guy who wears a work shirt and some nice pins on it while fixing and repairing cars lawn mowers etc highly recommended to finish a hat jacket or the look you are going for you can not go wrong with these babies no matter what your into or do.

It would have been better as a one piece pin when I purchased I thought it was 2 pieces meaning it was two identical pins NOT 2 pieces

Gave this to my son for Christmas. He loved it. He likes pins and things like this that are handmade. He collects them so this was one of his collection pieces. Highly recommend if you are into this sort of thing. Very well made.

The skull and crossbones pins came quickly, and I could not be happier with them. As described, there is a skull pin and a crossed bones pin. The only problem I ran into is that each one only has one pinback, giving the possibility of spinning misalignment. I fixed that by using the  Pin Keepers with Allen Wrench 10 Pcs , pushed the keepers snug, tightened them up, no more spinning skull! As can be seen from the picture I posted, the Skull and Crossbones are of a healthy size, and are certainly large enough to not get lost on anything you might put them. Very solid, not flimsy. I would recommend these to all my pirate friends.

Stupidly I did not read the smallprint, like others who ordered this. The title clearly refers to a single pin "Skull& Bones Lapel Pin" and that was good enough for me.As with others I am somewhat dumbfounded that 2 separate pins came, a skull one and a bones one, (each with a different pin and clasp). Whoever created this needs a good hard slap. Why they would think snapping something in half makes it a better product is beyond me. It clearly is now an inferior product (or rather 2 inferior products).Since I am a victim of my own apathy at not reading the full smallprint description I give it a higher-than-I-would-like 3 stars.
