what is maximum cutting depth ? diameter of motor body?

You get about 1.5” of cut depth til the collar of the shield hits your material. The diameter of the motor body isn’t huge but I’d say around 2” or so. This thing is extremely well balanced, and accepts 4” cut offs. I was extremely happy with mine! The trigger lock is comfortable and easy to engage, you do t have to try a couple times to flip the lock. I’m a custom car builder and So many times you need a cut in a tight spot and using the traditional pneumatic cut off tools you can’t get there, but this tool helps make it easy.

you can use them, but since it is a machine that takes a 4 inch cut off wheel, and it says "4 inch cut off wheel", why do you have to ask stupid questions?
