I am a huge fan of Doc Jay Kumar. His work is heaven sent and so very important for humanity as a whole. The read feels like a smooth glide, easy to follow and mindful of those new to this information as well as those who may be aware to some extent and could use an inspiring reminder. The method and steps help any level of reader to apply something tangible to their everyday life that ABSOLUTELY improves well being on every level. This is a proven scientific method which compliments and supports many a spiritualist and faith seeker. I love that this was written to embody and integrate what some people once never had proof of scientifically. This is not only a resource it could prove to save lives and help those who feel they have lost touch with joy and need to feel JOY once again! We all deserve happiness and this is a gift to those who may be lost as to how to cultivate and maintain happiness. A DEFINITE five star. Yes, apps can be tricky to deal with but the amazing customers service people at Amazon walked me through via telephone when I had trouble downloading my copy of this beautiful gift to the world. The issue was resolved quickly and was pleasant. Thanks Jay. Bless you!

excellent life guidance
Great job by the author in laying out some fundamental guidelines for better living. Presented in a straightforward, compelling manner, this short book offers usable insights and suggestions for improving your life. There is a lot of advice in the world on some of these topics, but little of it explains why particular circumstances or actions make the difference they do. This work provides those explanations, which makes its advice powerful and flexible.

Unable to open the .mbp file to read the book's text.
I gave this book 5 stars based on the author's discussion of it. I haven't been able to read it because I couldn't download/open the file. I should ask Amazon to refund my payment, but that's not Dr. Kumar's responsibility.My dissatisfaction with this download has nothing to do with the author, whom I've met and liked, or the content of his book, which he described at a conference presentation that was inspirational.It sounds like a great work. But I can't read it digitally because the downloaded file is only 4KB, which means none of the content is there, and I can't find any software to open a file that didn't download as it should.I'll be looking for a way to cancel the order and reorder the title as a print book, when it is published traditionally.

Nice introduction to the relationship between the brain and emotional states
This is a nice little book that explains the connections between some well-proven practices for happiness and well-being, such as meditation, gratitude practice, laughter, etc. impact the brain and helps shape beneficial neural pathways. It is written in an easy style that feels almost like a magazine article, making it ideal for readers who are curious, yet not scientifically oriented. There are plenty of links built in that point to several of the scientific studies and even the most discerning scientist would probably not object to any of the content. Literature lovers may find the language a little too cutesy at times, but it is not to the point of being offensive. I am likely to recommend this book to many people I know. If you are just beginning to explore this topic or if you find that the topic intimidates you, then this is definitely a good starting point. You will have a clear understanding of some of the basic principles of how the brain works. Not a must-read, but an enjoyable read.
