Activity Suspension Bridge - Hamster & Small Animal Toy

Had to sand the top piece because it was splintery. So was the hanging log which I didn't use because its too small for a syrian hamster. The top didn't have grooves for the twine to hang the log and it had two different lengths of twine.There are no directions, but it's easy to set up just using the picture on amazon. It came with glue and the holes and pegs matched up.

I love this! I'm so happy I got it. It's a cute little set and my hamster seems to like it a lot. It all come together right and nothing broken. It was super easy to install in my hamsters cage and I tied the hanging ladder across the cage for more length. I really reccomend this product for your lil rodent friend.Update:She's obsessed with it and climbs on it all the time. I'd say it's her favorite thing besides her wheel.

First of all, you really need some kind of glue for this, because it will not stand up if it's not glued together--or it might, but it'll get knocked down if you so much as breathe on it wrong. The glue included with it, in my case, was unusable--I think it had dried out or something, because it had become a tacky texture like marshmallow fluff or something. I wound up using a hot glue gun instead. While trying to fit the pieces together, one of the little... dowels, I guess they're called? That was supposed to insert into the centerpiece, wound up breaking off with very little pressure applied, so when you're putting this together, take extra care. You also might want to glue the string to the log tube once you have it in a position you like, because it tends to fall out pretty easily otherwise.All of that said, once it was put together properly and stable, it looks great and my mice have been absolutely loving it. I'm very happy I got it.

I really wanted to love this! I waited forever to order it because it was constantly sold out, which made me think it would be great for my mice... gotta be good if it's sold out all the time, right? I finally was able to get it and was sadly disappointed.The round stepping logs on the one ladder were loose and would flip around when the mice would try to climb them. The pre-glued climbing pegs had glue seeping out of the holes and running down the side. I don't know what kind of glue was used and was worried that the mice would chew it. During assembly, which was easy enough, the pegs completely snapped in half. Still... I put it together the best I could and cleaned up as much of the glue as I could and let the mice give it a try... They seemed to enjoy investigating the new toy, as usual, and didn't seem to mind how unstable it was. The younger, more agile mice didn't have a problem, but the older girls preferred to just hang out inside the log. In the end, I decided it was too much work to keep it together and was not comfortable with the wads of glue and broken pieces. I put it back in the box and chucked it. Despite all the issues, I give it 3 stars simply because it was a good idea, just poorly executed. After waiting so long to get it and seeing how much my mice enjoyed it, I wish it would have held together better so they could enjoy it longer.

Absolutely love these!! Bought 4 of them for my 4 male mice that I have separated in different cages. The girls are together & we built a lot of levels & they have tons of stuff to crawl all over, but the boys were left out. These are so perfect for them, takes up the empty space & gives them something to have fun with. All 4 of them were made really well so I had no problems putting them together. My boys are so happy now!! (Sorry about the grainy pics & the glare on the glass.)

This is incredible. Here's a list of just some things that were wrong with this product.1. They gave me the wrong top piece. It was flat, not round like in the picture, and it didn't have any grooves for the rope.2. The ropes came in different lengths, one of which was wayyyy too short. I had to get my own hemp rope to hang the log.3. The holes on the log are scattered haphazardly, and make it difficult to hang it without covering them.4. The peg that hold the product together are cheap, and broke while assembling it.5. The pegs for climbing on the side are wayyy thinner than in the photo.6. The little climbing stairs on the side are loose, and turn with the slightest weight.7. The glue is disgusting, looked like it was like rotten or moldy or something. I opened it up and there was just a patch of green gross stuff sitting on one side of it.That being said, my mice did like it. But it was not worth $20.

My Syrian hamster is enjoying climbing on this toy. It needed to be glued together when it arrived, but it comes with the glue. The log is definitely too small and narrow for a Syrian hamster to fit through, so I left it out, but my hamster is still having fun with the rest of the toy. She fits through all of the bars just fine. I wish more toys were made for bigger hamsters to enjoy.

Got it for my rats. They don’t like how it makes them feel unstable so they never use it. Then they started chewing on parts of it and it all just fell apart and pieces of it were missing (the rats thought the metal loops were toys, so they disassembled it and hid the “toy” pieces from me). Now I have the pieces I found of it on a shelf, but will probably never find the other pieces of it (maybe I already threw them out with the bedding some cleanings ago) so it’s useless. Sad, because I thought it looked cute, but they didn’t like any part of it except the metal loops holding it all together.

I bought this for my two little fancy mice thinking they seemed bored and it's like a miracle. Thier cage doesn't smell anymore because they're not just eating and pooping out of boredom, they're friendlier towards me. I don't have to chase them around the tank any more to get them out, they're fine with me just grabbing them and picking them up. They're more interested and engaged when I do take them out, they're not just trying to run away anymore, they actually want to explore and seem interested in what I'm doing. They also just look healthier. They're still pretty chubby because they I feed them a lot but they've gotten noticeably more muscular just in the past week. I'd say this product helped them go from captives to pet. We're both much happier.I had to drill an extra hole in one part of the stand while putting it together because the hole that was already in there wasn't in the correct place and they're chewing through the wood pretty fast but it's such a good price I can afford to buy a new one if this one becomes unusable and I don't mind doing a little DIY.It also fit perfectly in my ten gallon tank. If it had been even a little wider I would have had trouble getting it in though so I'll watch out for that in the future.
