Unknown DEDE Instant Thai Tea Drink with and Sugar 12 Pockets, cream, 14.76 Ounce

As I read the comments, there are some customers who don't like this product. I don't understand why but I'm so happy to have found the right, easy, and affordable way to drink Thai tea. It tastes just like the one from the mall. I must warn you though it is very sweet so DON'T add any more sugar to it. TRUST ME. I make my "Thai tea slushie" with brown sugar boba. Thai Tea slushie: Heat up 400ml of water in a pot till it simmers. Then put 2 packages of the tai tea in the pot and turn off the stove. Give it a good stir for 1 minute. Put the drink into a big cup or small bowl and let it cool at room temperature. (Don't put it in the freezer. You won't get good results) after you let it completely cool pour the drink and pour 1-2 cups of Ice in a blender and blend it till you have a slushie texture. You can put half a ML of sweet condensed milk...but it's way too sweet for my preference. Add your brown sugar boba into a cup and then the slushie and BOOM there you go. You'll thank me later 💕 (Also but the same DEDE brand for milk tea)

I love these!!! They taste so good! I still put a little milk for taste but just water is still good. It’s quick and easy and I drink it every morning.

Delicious tea, a little spicy and quite sweet. My husband loves this one! A bit expensive, but worth it.

This thai iced tea is ALMOST like the freshly made tea at the boba shops but not quite there. It's like 90% there. It's very hard to describe, however, you wont find one this close that is in a portable package like this. Other brands of powdered Thai ice tea do not taste as good as this brand. Those are like 60% of the taste.

I first ordered real Thai tea that was shown as "tea bags" but when I received it, it was a big bag of loose tea. It takes a lot to brew just one glass of tea, and using the strainer was a big mess. It also leaves quite a bit of residue with a regular strainer and forget about using a coffee filter! My first attempt was with the strainer, the second with the coffee filter. Not worth the hassle! I ordered the DeDe instant Thai tea and am very happy. I wish it came unsweetened so that I could use my Splenda, but I am happy and satisfied with this great product just as it is, and will order more for gifts for my tea-loving friends.

I was hesitant to try this based on some of the reviews but glad I did.I will say for me I can’t just drink it based on the directions with just water as it seems like a lot of powder for that small amount of water.I usually make a small cup of hot water in my kureg with the packet.Once that cools down I put it over a fair amount of ice and top it off with a dash of heavy cream.Tastes almost like the Thai tea I get at my favorite place but it’s definitely not as sweet as I’m used to.In all I don’t think it’s bad when you want a sweet pick me up.Ive tried a lot of Thai tea brands and most it seems are not very sweet which is what I like so it does depends on which tea flavor your going for.

This Thai tea tastes mostly like sugar, cream and a hint of tea. It is not so much that it is bad but it does not taste like Thai tea that I have had either in restaurants or another brand of instant. My wife even detected what she thought was a hint of hazelnut. She thought it tasted like cream, sugar and mild hazelnut flavor. Again, that is not necessarily a bad thing if that is what you were looking for. Realizing that taste his objective, if I cannot get Thai tea in a restaurant (like I did just yesterday) and don’t want to take the time to brew a large batch from scratch, I use Prince of Peace instant also purchased on Amazon or sometimes at an Asian market but the closest that carries that brand is 90 minutes away. In my opinion the Prince of Peace brand is far superior over DeDe. Both versions are made to be used with only 7 ounces of water if hot and less made and then put over ice. For a big coffee size mug it will probably take two packets of either. I have seen comments about both having a weak flavor and if made with more than 7 ounces of water, I would agree. One advantage that DeDe has is that it is about 60% cheaper than Prince of Peace on Amazon. Maybe that has something to do with the flavor.
