High quality mesh but tricky to use.
We bought this to make little plant enclosures against rabbits and chipmunks. It is very well made. The steel is very strongly springy, so it is a bit tricky to work with. It always wants to spring back into a tight coil. Also, there is not enough in the roll to make very many plant enclosures, if that is what you need.

We used it to keep our cat from crawling under the door and escaping outside.
We used it to keep our cat from crawling under the door and escaping outside. Our cat was always crawling under a midway entry door (we have two doors for our entryway). She would find a way to get under the door and when we were not looking escape through the main door and force us to chase after her to return her inside. This usually happened when we were in a hurry to go somewhere and having to chase the cat wasted about 10 - 15 minutes. Placing the wire mesh under the door prevented her from crawling under the door. This door had been constructed in such a way so as to allow about 3 inches of clearance for air flow for the heater and prevent suction when the main door was opened.

Squirrel proof your grass repairs.
This material is easy to cut with scissors. I lay it over grass repair spots to keep the daggone squirrels from digging up the soil, seed and fertilizer.

perfect for arranging artificial flowers
Saw a video using this type of product to arrange fake flowers. It does help to make the arrangement look real, and it's easy to use-even cuts with regular scissors.

Amazing for Florals
Used this for my mantle at Easter. Game changer

Very light gauge
True chicken wire is about 3 times thicker. Depends on what you are using it for but it really isn't very structurally sound.

Lightweight wire mesh
This is probably not sturdy enough for real, live chickens. However, I'm using it on potted plants, to keep my kitties from digging. For that purpose, it is perfect. Light enough that I could cut it with kitchen shears, and easy to bend. I didn't even use gloves while manipulating it, and got no scratches.

Great for fresh flowers projects.
I used this to hold the flowers in the vases instead of floral foam for my daughter’s wedding. We also made a chicken wire egg to build her bouquet. This one In the Picture is a practice bouquet we made with the chicken wire. It kept the flowers from being crammed together. It was very easy and to work with.

Very thin "chicken" wire
Not suitable for my purposes (pigeons under solar panels!). Pricey for what it is.

Surface rust - wouldn’t recommend for keeping chickens
Great for what I needed it for: to deter stray cats from getting to my garden beds. However I wouldn’t recommend for keeping chickens. In less than 2 weeks left outside, the wire is covered in surface rust. Not sure on the integrity.
