Smooth & Silky Electric Shaver for Women, 4-Blade Wet & Dry Razor

I needed to replace my 35-year old corded leg shaver. I did the reseach and first bought a razor with five round heads, that did not even turn on, was mostly made of light weight plastic, and had to be returned. I decided that I needed to only buy a well-established brand name, and a quality razer. That criteria led me to buy this razor. I was completely shocked at how well it shaved my legs, was so easy it is to clean, charge, and above all, to use. It shaved most hairs on one pass, and certainly got any leftover hair on the second pass. After using this razor, I sent out an email to nine of my closest friends to let them know that this is an amazing product if they are looking for a new and improved shaver. I used to dread shaving my legs because it took several passes, was awkward and time consuming. Not with this Remington razor. I can shave each leg in less than one minute. THIS is an exellent shaver. Thank you Remington for making such a high-quality shaver for women.

I love this shaver and it was worth every penny! I researched and read about many electric razors before selecting this one. I don't have money to waste so I wanted to get something not terribly expensive, but really worked well. This razor fits that bill. If I am shaving after not shaving all winter I have to make 2 passes to get everything. It works great in the pits and on the legs. I can shave dry or wet. Charging is easy with the handy stand they give you. I charged it when I got it and have not run the battery out after several weeks. I can shave my legs smooth quickly, easily, and without water! What I am saving in water, shaving cream, razor refills, and time pays for this razor quickly. I haven't had any skin irritation, razor burn, or cuts. I have coarse hair on my legs and it gets through it really well. When I showed it to my mom, she was so impressed she grabbed it and shaved her legs right there. Now I have to get her one so she will leave mine alone!

This review is coming from a father of a biracial child living in an Asian country where young women generally do not develop leg hairs. Consequently, my Korean wife had little understanding of what to do about the matter, so it was left unattended for too long. I decided to take action as a father, lest my daughter face being teased In gym class now that she is beginning middle school (lord knows I've been gawked at for my hairy legs in this country). I am not a fan of electric razors, because I feel like I haven't showered unless I have shaved the old way, and also because they don't shave as closely. My daughter is not very keen on using a traditional razor because she cut her finger on mine when she discovered it in the medicine cabinet at a young age. In all honesty she could probably handle a traditional shaver after some practice, but I thought a nice electric razor would make a great gift. I almost canceled this order out of concern due to people complaining about the quality of Remington going downhill, and finding other Chinese made products that look identical to this, with a simple name change and a lower price. I will, however, report that the razor has worked very well so far, after a few uses. Instinctively, I knew how to teach my daughter to angle the head slightly inward for trimming first, followed by closer trimming with the two rounded heads afterward. The trick with this kind of razor is to think of it as two different types of razors in one, and hold it at more of an angle when using the flat trimmer on the front, followed by laying the razor head flatly on the skin for trimming with the smaller rounded close-cutting blades. She took to using it rather easily after I showed her these simple methods. I will note that there is a plastic cover head that acts as a spacer for shaving underarms and in private areas without getting too close. I haven't asked her if she has tried that part yet, but my experiment using that piece yielded mixed results on the back of my hairy hand. Overall, this razor seems to be a positive purchase. I will tell ladies that I firmly believe labeling these razors as "for ladies", after a color change and pretty box, is some real marketing. A cheaper price on a near identical "men's" electric razor may be the better buy. The difference is hype. But I know my daughter appreciated having something labeled for women and in a color she enjoys. I also told her that she'll probably want to move on to a traditional style razor when she gets older, as I think razors like this are good for touch-ups or in a pinch, but not the best for long-term use. They just don't shave as close, as mentioned. It's currently the perfect thing for my daughter, at this time.

1st shave didn't feel like it did much, definitely not as close as a razor. BUT, if you read instructions, it tells you outright that it takes multiple uses to get your skin used to the electric shaver and shave will get closer if you use it exclusively. I have been using it as such since 4/15/24. I have shaved with it exclusively on dry skin 5 times now and it is getting almost as close as a razor. No irritation, no nicks. No nearly killing myself in a slippery shower. Stretching my skin in harder to reach areas also helps. Not gonna use a razor again until this thing quits. I don't use it on my armpits though, I had laser hair removal a couple of years ago for that. Absolutely loving this shaver for my legs! Update 06/21/2025...14 months later and still happy with this shaver. Charge still lasting long enough to shave both full legs at least 2.5x over. Only down side is motor is trying to die, but it still shaves (after 14 months of constant use). Time to buy a new one of these.

So this is my first electric shaver. I am really prone to ingrown hair, and I tried practically everything before this: Manual razors, waxing, depilation creams...I even tried some half laser/half razor type thing I found on Amazon but nothing worked. This one worked a bit better than the rest of the methods. + I did notice a slight improvement on my ingrown hair issue after using this shaver a few times (but I don't know if it's foil shavers in general that work better, or this one specifically). I liked that most of the time it didn't hurt, and that unlike a regular razor, it is convenient and almost fun to use. It is pretty easy to clean. It looks pretty. The charging station is comfortable. I've never run out of charge while shaving (but I always kept it on the charger when I wasn't using it). I was also able to get a pretty close shave once I learned how to use it properly. Especially on legs (the pictures I posted were taken today, about 4 hours after I used this shaver) - However, I am now returning it for two reasons. One, Amazon does not carry the replacement heads, and on the Remington website they are about $26. That's ridiculous; I might as well keep buying new ones. Two, even thought this works okay on bikini lines, it has cut me very hard in some of the most painful places when I tried to do a 'Brazilian' shave down there. And I don't know about you guys, but I need a shaver that can take it all off. Not just the sides. So if you are looking to buy something just for legs, and you don't mind spending a fortune on replacement heads or buying a new one every month, then this shaver is the one for you. It works great on legs! But for more intimate shaves, I would look elsewhere. Not that there's anywhere to look! I've been looking online for a new shaver for hours, and I can't find anything better for my purpose than this one. It is really starting to annoy me that men have to shave like 1 thing, and there's like a billion different electric foil shavers made for them, while women have to shave practically everything and we have no normal shavers to choose from! I demand more options! :(

Very easy to use Hold the charge Perfect size Has lasted a long time On the downside, it doesn’t seem to really do its job very well. I have to keep going over the same place over and over.

I've had this thing for a while now and I have to say, it sucks. I had the Panasonic ES2207P and it was great until it finally died on me. So I decided to go with the Remington since it was a top recommendation. Well it's awful. It barely shaves. What is worse is that it has this jagged toothy edge up front that cuts into my skin and leaves a razor burn on the sides. It also traps what hair it does manage into the tooth front blade that is a pain to clean. It barely does ok on legs but armpits, it always hurts me. I use shaving gel and it still has this issue. I've given up and am now looking for another Panasonic to replace this one.

Bought this shaver to replace the other Remington I had for years and years. Works great, stores easily.

This product works wonders. I had legs that were not shaved for a few months and it did an outstanding job at removing hair, even without leaving a prickly touch. I found that pressing it against my skin a bit firmly helps, applying it flat or slightly angled going against the hair growth, has the best and smoothest results. I highly recommend to anyone who may not have the time, patience, or motivation etc to use an actual razor in the shower. Very easy to clean. A bonus is it will not cut you and can be used in the shower or just on dry skin (what I did)!
