The wood is cured for years by the warm Mediterranean sun, and once the olive tree no longer bears fruit, the centuries old trunk and branches are made into cutting boards and other housewares that naturally resist cracking or warping through daily use. Each of our cutting boards are made from a single piece of wood, leaving one side with its natural edge to showcase its rustic and timeless beauty. Although olive wood is one of the most durable cutting board materials, you can help keep your piece in heirloom condition by periodically rubbing it with olive or vegetable oil and only washing it by hand.
