B52 Anodized Handrail Aluminum Stairs Kit Stainless Steel Look 6 Ft and 1.97"diam

This product was the perfect match for our contemporary home. Thanks to the 9 hollow wall anchors I used to install the wall brackets on my 7’ rail. It feels confidently secure and would suit a light commercial application too. It took about an hour to install. You will need to provide your own screws and wall anchors for installation. Self drilling screws were provided for mounting the brackets to the handrail. I drilled a pilot hole to ensure accuracy. The wall brackets came with a number of minor blemishes as mentioned in other reviews, likely a result of bulk handling during the manufacturing process. After install and from normal viewing distance the blemishes are indistinguishable. The product was packaged quite well and protected with bubble wrap. The railing finish is perfect. Shipping was fast too!

This railing was one of the best purchases we've made. It looks was shipped quickly & well packaged. We purchased the 8ft, and it came with 4 mounting brackets. I wound up using 3 and screwed them into studs so the railing is very secure. It come with self tapping screws which worked really well.I underestimated how much of a difference a railing could make, but this really sets off the hallway. I'd recommend for anyone that has a modern looking house.

After a long delay from when they said it was shipped to when it actually shipped (5 weeks later) it is solid and looks good so the wait was worth it.But the communication was horrible about what happened on their end. They marked it as shipped about 11 days after I ordered it and Amazon showed it as shipped and in transit but in fact it never left their warehouse. Two weeks later I contact Amazon who has the manufacture contact me and said they would look into it and ship it again the following week. Nine days later I contact them again and they said they would ship it on a Monday. On Wed I contact them again and they said they would ship it on Thur. They shipped it on Fri with no explanation for the delay.

We moved into our new home and didn't love the ugly cheap wooden rail going down to our basement. I researched a lot of them and decided this one was the best. Husband installed it and we think it looks great! It is high quality and very sturdy. The only thing I could complain about is that there was stickiness after taking off stickers on it... which was no problem with goo gone. The company also seemed very professional and sent me an email with our exact rail all packaged up before they sent it. I thought that was really cool. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend!

The quality and appearance of the handrail and hardware are very nice. And, once I got it installed the look great. I would ave given it a 5 star rating, if the mounting bracket weren't so poorly engineered. With the hole spacing, it was impossible to have all three holes screwed into a stud. Only two, on line could be mounted to a stud. The 3rd screw had to utilize toggle bolt hardware for hollow dry wall. Not as secure as I'd like for a handrail.

We selected this product because of the robust diameter of the rail and the fact that it has no rubber seal as seen on some competing products that accumulate dirt and bacteria. Any questions to Aress customer support were promptly answered and a delivery glitch (damage) was quickly taken care of. The most difficult in the installation process was to find the exact location. They have to be mounted in relation to the bottom and top step, no matter what the wall looks like. I found the studs and mounted the end brackets first. I put two of the three collar screws (Stainless steel sheet metal screws #10 x 2") in the stud and the third into a quality anchor. To attach the bracket to the tube, I used #8 x 3/4" stainless steel flat head sheet metal screws. Once in position, I added the center bracket. We are very pleased with the final result. I would definitely recommend this Aress product.

I live in a sunny, salty environment near the sea. This railing hasn't needed any maintenance in 7 years since I installed it, which was easy. I attached it into aluminum posts that I found at Home Depot. Solid, safe. Nice to find a top quality product.
