Look! Board book – Illustrated, May 10, 2016

My toddler LOVES this book and so fast and easy to read! She literally broke the first one and so we had to buy another one!

A 3 year - old instantly got the (not so subtle) message...hey, pay attention to ME instead of the screen, and could tell the story after just one reading. Good book!

My 2 yr old and 4 yr old love this book. It's pure genius. It only uses two words and yet it is a complete story that my kids find hysterical.

A humorous book for adults and toddlers to enjoy.

There really isn't much story here. Even thru the pictures, the story is pretty lame. The monkey wants attention and the boy isn't giving it to him. The monkey makes a mess and then feels bad. The boy ends up giving him attention. The illustration is pretty. But there's no moral, even thru pictures. I got this for my niece, whom was 15mths and now approaching 2yo. She was never that interested. The lack of words (the ONLY word is "Look!") and even lack in variety of objects. She enjoys more books where you can read an actual story, identify colors (what color is the bus?.. "yellow"), identify objects (ex: where is the moon?/where is the pig? .. "there it is!"), or identify numbers, etc. As an adult this book is stupid since most books are asked to be read multiple times. Identifying emotions/moods to a less than 2yo is a bit advanced and so the pictures and word story does not match the age range. Save your money and get something more educational or at the very least a range in picture variety or a nice story!
