Great Costume Biretta for Halloween or the stage. I used it with a monsignor costume to play in a pit orchestra for Nunsense!, and everyone called me Monsignor. A lead actor involved me in the show as a Monsignor. The hat is durable felt, and is easy to fix if dented or made out of shape. I have a large head (7-3/4) and this was a bit snug, but it would fit anyone of average dimensions.

This is completely unacceptable for a hat. It's junk. You mine as well put a box on your head

Sturdy construction, but it is definitely for costume. It was a tad bit small but I really was expecting it. The only real disappointment was the pom-pom: I thought it would be a little big bigger. I dread buying a real biretta. $$$

I have an average size head and it fit well. It is a little more rigid than I expected, but is what I was looking for. Looks like it will last a while with caee. this was for a costume that may or may not be used in the future

We bought this priest's hat (biretta) for one of our boys for our church's All Saint's Party on Halloween. He dressed up as St. John Bosco, and this completed his costume nicely. For sizing, I would say it fits well on our 9 and 11 year olds, but is a little big on our 5 and 7 year olds. It has held up well since then, and will likely be used again for years to come!
