Absolute must for pet owners. Simple to use and clean. Also includes a cool pack that sits under the food trays. Used for a fully grown German shepherd so both compartments were needed for a single feed.

I have a cat that gobbles all the food straight away whenever I have to leave for a day. This automatic feeder prevents her from doing that and means I don’t walk back through the front door amidst deafening cat screams of hunger or face a house trashed because the cat has plundered it looking for food. I refused to pay for an expensive one because I don’t use it everyday and if I stop manually feeding my cat, it will have no further use for me as it’s bald monkey slave. This feeder is great, I can keep wet food fresh with the ice block and set the timers to release the goodies at intervals during the day. It is tried and tested and works reliably well, great value for money and even I can programme it easily. The only criticism I will make is that it seems you have to set the timer for over an hour in order for it to register.

Seems to work fine, lid open and food gone by the time I get home, cat satisfied.

So far so good - works as expected and useful to have if we need to be out for a little longer during the day. We haven’t used the ice block yet (as just using with dry biscuits for now) but the timer works as expected and it’s good that you can have them set to open at different times. The metal trays make it feel a little less plasticky and are really easy to clean.

Product was very deceptive. Batteries consumption was very high and the product stopped delivering food after 2 months. Dial had to be manually moved to free access to the cat food. Our cats were not very pleased, neither their owners. Product to never buy despite its interest to feed two cats at the same time. Good idea but bad conception and product.

Tested it several times and the lid didn't flip up when the dial reached 0. Couldn't trust it to work peoperly when out so I returned it and bought the digital version instead

Works great and a reasonable price

I use this for wet food for my cat and it works really well as she likes to graze on her food as opposed to eat at set meal times. The ice pack keeps the food cold (which she prefers) and stops it from spoiling. Its easy enough to take apart and clean too.

I’ve been using CloserPets feeders for about four years now. My first one lasted around three years before one of the doors stopped opening, so I ended up replacing it. I’ve had a total of four now, and honestly, I still like them. A few tips from experience: I change out the batteries every three months and only use regular batteries, not rechargeable ones. Rechargeables might show a full charge, but I’ve found they don’t always hold up long enough or stay consistent. I use these feeders because I feed my cats wet food, they don’t really get kibble, and this helps me make sure they get their meals when I’m not home. They eat about three times a day, so this setup really helps when I’m working or out running errands. The ice block is decent, but it doesn’t stay cold as long as I’d like, especially since I live in the desert. Even with the AC on, it warms up pretty fast in the summer. In the winter months, it stays cooler longer. I actually find that gel-style ice packs work much better, and I wish the company would update their design to include something like that. There is some condensation buildup, I always wipe the unit down and let it air out after each use because I worry about mold. If you feed raw, I wouldn’t recommend this model. There are some feeders out there with built-in cooling systems (semi-conductors) that might be better for that, but even then, I’m not sure how safe they are long term. My cats eat homemade cooked food mixed with canned cat food, and this feeder works great for that. I did try another brand that had a cooling feature, it is solely electric with no battery backup. Once, while I was away working for 14 hours, we had a power outage and the feeder completely reset. My cats didn’t get their meals that whole day. Where I live, power outages happen sometimes from storms or high winds, so that was a dealbreaker for me. That’s actually what made me go back to using the CloserPets feeder, I like that it’s battery operated and reliable. One last thing: if you get a model that comes with a plastic feeding tray, I really recommend upgrading it to stainless steel. Even if the plastic is labeled BPA-free or pet safe, it can still cause cat acne or allergies. It’s just better to use stainless steel or ceramic dishes for your cats.

DOES NOT WORK. It does not open on the time i have scheduled it, just doesn’t open at all unless i give it a nudge.

This has been a lifesaver as my kitten loves to wake me at 5am every day for breakfast. It’s quiet, there is a faint ticking noise but it doesn’t make noise when it opens. I don’t find there to be an issue with the timer, it seems to open on time. Also is durable, my kitten has tried her best to get it open and can’t, however I did have to Velcro it to my floor as she kept flipping it around my room lol. But now it’s great.

Ottimo, con l'applicatore a parte c'è la possibilità di farlo aprire in contemporanea, ottimo per chi ha 2 gatti. L'apertura del coperchio è davvero silenziosa, non te ne accorgi. Il tickettio non è fastidioso. Meglio che le ciotole siano in acciaio anziché in plastica così da evitare allergie e acne felina.
