Like others here, I thought these would be white, but they are not. The picture on Amazon is misleading. For my needs this does not affect me much, but it did factor into my purchasing decision, so be advised of this. I bought these to extend the neck of a dress shirt. I'll be wearing a tie over the buttons, so it doesn't really matter that they're metallic. I tried one on, and it was just right to make the neck comfortable vs. too tight. I'm a big guy and a 20" neck is too small, but a 22" is too big. If you're my size, you know almost no one sells a shirt with a 21" neck. This device was a good fix for that. Frankly, as a guy I do not intend to subject anyone to seeing me wear pants that are too tight, so I'm not using these for that. I have not tried using these for any extended period of time, so I cannot speak to their durability. The springy part looks like it's secured to the button part by means of jamming the ends into a pair of holes, so it's possible that part could come loose over time. Perhaps if you're handy, a blob of solder might be a good preemptive fix. You get four small ones and four big ones, so you could always carry a spare just in case.

I use these all of the time because of my fat neck...lol...! It's nice to have a half inch more room in the collar/neck area when wearing ties. I haven't used the pants button extenders yet, but it's nice to have them in case I need them. Over-all...good product.

These little extenders helped me wear my non-maternity jeans for just a little while longer during my pregnancy. They come in a multi pack which is good because the elastic broke on two of them.

These work as expected in giving me a little extra breathing room in my neck. Most shirts that fit my neck are too big on my body, these babies fix that problem. Nothing fancy, but they do the job and are hidden behind a necktie anyway.

Works as described. Took several days (maybe a week) to arrive.

These work and they are discrete. They are small. I needed to use two hooked together to give my neck enough room.
