Easier to use than the reviews had stated...
These work even better than I expected! No more smacking our large ice cubes to make smaller irregular chips and pieces. I appreciate having non plastic/non aluminum ice trays and the cubes are a perfect size for our needs. In the reviews I read before buying this product, there were complaints about removing the frozen cubes. One must use an ice container (we use a small stainless steel bowl) which is common. Hold the tray over your container and move it in a wave-like fashion from one end to the other and back again and almost all of the cubes will pop out when done correctly. There will be some cubes left around the edges of the tray that require a little patience to remove. I can do this quite quickly. Filling it is not the easy pour while tilting slightly, of other handle operated trays. Just move the tray back and forth under the pouring water and run your hand over the top once or twice during this process. I would like to have these for larger cubes too, if that is technically feasible.

Not as good as the rigid white plastic trays, unresponsive company
Four days ago, "Charles and the team" wrote to me asking for a review. I replied with a dissatisfied review, and awaited a reply. After all, I could be doing something wrong with this simple device. They did not reply until now, with another robo-request for a review. So here it is:Hi Charles and team,I plan to write a review on Amazon, but I will wait to hear from you because my experience has not been as positive as I had hoped. Maybe you will have some tips to make it better.I really like the little ice cubes. It's much neater and quicker than smashing a bigger one to bits.I have two pairs of ice cube trays for little cubes, a pair of rigid white plastic trays and a pair of your flexible blue trays. The attached photo shows the results of emptying each of the four trays after 10 seconds each. You can see that the rigid white trays are both virtually empty, and your blue ones are not.The white trays are a little harder to flex, but once I do, the ice pops out pretty easily; a couple of sharp raps against my hand finishes the job. In 15 seconds, a bowl of ice cubes is back in the freezer, ready for action. The blue trays are easier to flex, but that does not make the ice come out. I have to press from the back while twisting the tray over the bowl, taking much longer. I usually have to pry many of them out with my fingertips while flexing the tray. It's 30-45 seconds or more before the bowl goes back to the freezer. In that time, the ice is melting, so when it goes into the freezer, the cubes freeze together into a mass that must be broken apart.Maybe I'm doing something wrong? If you have any tips, I am eager to hear them. I will hold off writing an unhappy review on Amazon for a few days, hoping for useful new information.John SgammatoPlymouth, MA 02360

Hard to get ice out
Love the idea of the tiny cubes - they seemed like they’d be really cute for my summer cocktails and they are - HOWEVER -1) cubes are really tough to remove. Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve only been able to get like 3 at a time out. I even tried emptying them into a bowl and then putting into glasses but they’re so small they melt before I get them all out of the tray.2) one tray barely fills a lowball glass. If you’re looking to fill a regular size cup or glass you will need two of these ready to go. Not a ideal if you’re trying to make drinks for a crowd or even just your partner.3) they melt quickly, like I mentioned before. On the plus side it seems like really good material and I put in the dishwasher and they were fine. Overall would not purchase again.

Not perfect, but quick/economical solution for pebble ice
I've been trying to find a quick and easy way to make "pebble ice" (like Sonic and Chik-fil-a use in their drinks) for use in tiki cocktails, and only solutions so far have been an expensive ($500) home pebble ice maker you can find here on Amazon, an inconsistent method of using a Lewis Bag and Mallet (also available on Amazon) to crush ice to bits (but not pebble ice in the end), or running to those fast food joints to buy a bags of ice as needed. I saw these mini-cubes as possible alternative and they're "almost" perfect! As mentioned by other reviewers, they are pretty difficult to remove from the trays. You will need to twist and bend the trays and eventually press some of the cubes individually from the back to get them out of the trays. There is a certain amount of melting that will occur. Not too much if you press out the cubes quickly, but enough that once you put them into a storage container and replace in the freezer for future use that they will melt together in clubs. I find that just hitting them with my metal ice scoop as I put them to use works just fine for separating them. However, filling the tray was a true pain and made quite a mess (I was struggling to find a more efficient way to do it), and then I read a posted review here on Amazon where the reviewer shared the fact they were using a plastic squeeze bottle (like you'd find at a hot dog stand for ketchup and mustard). The tiny nose of the condiment bottle works perfectly for filling the tiny cube molds in these trays. Perfect!https://smile.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1KE7AWDFLG5K2/ref=cm_cr_getr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01L7ZFBXWI've seen a few mentions from people saying their cubes had a bad aftertaste from the silicone molds. I've made several batches and have not found that to be true. Perhaps it's something in their specific tap water that isn't responding well to the plastic mold? I've used bottled water to make my cube and taste nothing but pure, delicious ice.If you don't mind a little extra effort to fill and empty the tray -- these inexpensive trays are a great way to have pebble ice ready for mixing into drinks of every type!

Tastes like silicone
Love this but the ice cubes tasted like silicone even after washing.

Can’t get the ice cubes out (without them flying everywhere)
The ice cubes don’t come out! They either fly everywhere in the room or you have to take them out one by one in which case they’re so small they just melt immediately. I thought they’d be great for bottles that don’t fit regular ice cubes, but honestly couldn’t find any way to use these. They’re sitting in the back of my cupboard :-(
