This coffee maker works great: bought 2 years ago and used practically every day since. Not a single complaint. Super simple/easy to use!

Good basic coffee maker that's been around for a long time but it has a funny minor but inconvenient flaw. After the coffee is made, a significant amount of water sticks to the underside of the top lid and just hangs there. Later, 30 minutes or the next day when you are about to make coffee again, when you open that lid (if it has not been opened since brewing the last pot) to remove the old dirty filter and replace with new coffee and filter, when the lid opens fully, that water stuck on the bottom of the lid drains on to the counter top behind the coffee maker. The water is clean but it's strange how it hangs there under the lid for so long and then transfers out side of the coffee maker when the lid is fully opened. Why not design the lid with a lip to divert that runoff into the fresh water reservoir chamber?

This coffee maker will not program. This return date is outrageously too short. It worked for maybe a month and then the program function quit working.

Nice simple coffee maker. My last unit was a dual single/ pot combo. It started messing up. I decided to replace with two separate simple units. This unit is perfect. Does the job well. Looks good.

I’m very pleased with this BLACK+DECKER 12-cup coffee maker. It’s straightforward to use, the controls are intuitive, and it brews consistently good coffee. The carafe pours cleanly without dripping, and the warming plate keeps the coffee at a good temperature. For the price, it offers great value and performs exactly as advertised. A solid, dependable coffee maker for daily use.

I really like this coffee maker. If you buy one, the lid to the carafe is difficult to get on at first, but it gets easier. I was afraid I was going to break it because the first couple of times I put it on I had to really press hard to lock it into place. Also, I didn’t think the brew basket was going in correctly because the lid of the unit didn’t close completely, but then I discovered if I put a little pressure on the unit’s lid, it easily snapped into place. The coffee maker makes excellent coffee. I just wish it brewed hotter coffee. It cooks in my cup pretty quickly. Other than that, no complaints!

I think for what it is/does it's a bit overpriced (BUT what isn't these days?) It taught me a few things: 1) I prefer a cone filter to basket. 2) No way does this brew a full pot of decent strength coffee, it would never hold enough coffee grounds. 3) It is impossible to grab a cup before it's done brewing without drips on the hotplate; I hate that. 4) It looks cheap with the shiny black plastic and its appearance could be improved by simply making it matte. 5) I don't care for a coffee brewer that makes it so difficult to add a little more water as it is brewing. All of those things said, it's relatively quick. The coffee tastes fine if you use good quality coffee. When I buy another, I'll buy one that brews into a thermos style pot so there is no hot plate, and select one that I can add water to as it is brewing.

sorry very dissappointing experience, when it was switched on we were able to see the displayes , but the hot plat was not worhing.

The hot plate keeps the coffee hot. Nice size for counter. Good brewing flavour.
