I was disappointed when I received it as it was thicker than the photo suggested it was. Never ended up using it as a result of the thickness of the honeycomb work table. It's totally useless to me as I cant use it for anything, too high for the laser too. I went out and replaced it with a perforated Stainless Steel sheet instead. Thanks but no thanks.

Generally speaking it is not the best type bed for cutting wood materials. I was cutting some 1/8" basswood and kept hearing pops. Turned us the cells tend to collect gases and then they are ignited by the laser and explode. Not a big sound but has the risk of starting a fire. So I returned mine and built a pin type support that provides lots of air circulation.

Due to my own ignorance, I purchased this while sitting on the couch and not verifying the size that would fit in my K40 laser. I was new to the laser side of our business. The item arrived and I tried every which way to get it to fit into my cabinet. The bed is made of very high quality and feel sturdy. I eventually gave up and ordered the correct size and this little guy is being used to help with staining my wood projects. I build a drip pan underneath and now I put my projects on this to apply the distressed wood stain that I put into a small spray bottle. Not its intended use, but it keeps my stain from puddling underneath of wood projects.

Nice product but smaller than I thought.I expected the honeycomb to be the described dimension’s. When ordering you should take into account the aluminum frame. I need to reorder a larger one for my laser engraver. The frame takes up to much of the honeycomb.
