confusing
the cards all say 'antiques roadshow', you have to figure out which are which, the directions come with no pictures. It was confusing to the 4 adults who were playing for the first time..game had been sitting on shelf for 5 yrs before we decided to open it...after playing for about 2 hrs we decided it was not our 'cup of tea'!If you find it at a yard sale for a buck you might want to try to learn to play it but I would not pay .25 for another one!

Antiques Horrorshow
Picture, if you will, four friends on a road trip, in need of bemusement and finding a relic from a forgotten TV show adorned with a $1.99 price sticker from Goodwill. Morbid curiosity dictated a play through of this quiet masterpiece that was full of contrasting highs and lows. As a starting point, there are two glaring inherent flaws with this game. Firstly, it seems that the game's target audience appears to be people that wouldn't have anyone to play this game with otherwise. In a somewhat apologetic compensation for this know circumstance, the game encourages people to play along with the actual TV show. Secondly, the instructions were clearly written by someone who not only has never endeavored to play this game, but also holds a hefty disdain for it by making the condition of victory discarding any Antiques Road Show related cards and disavowing anything to do with the game. The losers are literally left with a variety of antique related items and are destined to languish in their abject failure.
