From the aesthetically pleasing look of these fuses and holders they mimic fine jewelry. If I needed to make a beautiful display of my solar system charging panel then they are the only ones I would use. Even though I don't, these will make my panel look rich at a price point that is the best option on Amazon.Functionality they tested at 99.97 amperes before entering meltdown. Can't get much better than that for a 100amp fuse as I prefer to be .03amperes under the rating than higher. Most of the 100amp fuses I have tested are generally 5-10% higher than their rated capacity so being so close to the listed rating is fantastic for me.As I have always felt only the rating of the actual product, not the packaging, shipping, etc belongs in the product reviews I won't disclose anything else other than everything else was fine and I recommend that you definitely consider purchasing them. Well, I was ready to install these bad boys in my dual battery setup to finally test it out, but I'm missing almost half of the order. Arrived with one complete fuse assembly, and the base of another. No fuse, no cover, and it wasn't even in the cello. Fairly obvious someone opened the package and took the fuse out before shipping, the nuts and washers are on it albeit very loosely. Pretty disappointed, to say the least.2 stars because they look like they'd be pretty stout, but I can't use half of the setup.

I bought these to fuse the supply lines to an inverter. I didn’t use them because they are large and it was difficult to fit large 2/0 wires to the lugs. I used Buss Marine Rated Battery fuses instead for a much cleaner, more compact installation.

Do to 31 years of Diesel engine vibration the main wiring harness chafed and shorted out. The harness is in good shape except for the chafe, the fuse links fried these are the replacements. Mounted high on the inner fender. Water shouldn’t be a problem. These should work very well.

The fuses and plastic casing seemed durable and high quality, unfortunately there is no marking of any kind to indicate the amp rating on the fuse or casing, even though the photos in the listing clearly shows the rating stamped on the fuse. This leaves a huge uncertainty... did they send me the right one? Who knows. How do you even test it without blowing the fuse? No thanks. So I returned it and went with a different fuse manufacturer who has the rating stamped in the metal AND also printed on the black part. It's so nice to know for sure.

Needed a 100amp fuse in line from my 1000W inverter to the batteries in our RV. Worked perfectly, however I could see the clear cover getting knocked off if you locate this in an area where other stuff is happening like storage. I had a place to keep it out of the way in the RV. Definitely not weather proof.

Easy installation. Hardest part was figuring out where to put they on my application. The cover opening doesn't fit the 1/0 AWG stranded wire I purchased to go with these. Easy fix to cut a portion from each end of the cover. Plastic is hard and may brittle over time due to the heat of southern Nevada. If so, expect an update on the review.

I popped off the cover once and the cover wouldn't stay on after I ended up having to glue it it place good price but poor quality cover reconsidering the importance of the cover
