DA BENBEN Camping Travel Cooking Utensils Set (8 Items)

I do a lot of camping with friends as well as with the Boy Scouts. It seems I am always turning to this kit, which I always pack along in my car, to find something that someone else didn't bring or forgot. It's a great, basic camp cooking utensil set. I would recommend adding a basic cooking spoon as the "spoon" that is included is more of a ladle...but it's a pretty good ladle. I also added a few wooden utensils for my cast iron. Good, basic setup. Some of the items are a bit flimsy, thus the 4-star rating. But if it's only for occasional use, this is a great option.

I am actually buying this item for a friend at work. She does not have a knife roll so her knives are in a simple bag. I figured this would be a little bit better. It is a bonus that it has a knife. She can use it as a "beater" knife. (Her main knives are globals.) Also, it is nice that there is a pair of scissors. (She keeps borrowing mine right now when she needs it. It's not bad that she borrows it, but when I need it, I have to find where she left it. I have enough trouble finding where I left them... Don't need her to complicate things.)THere is a joke of a cutting board inside. I guess if you are at a campsite, it might be useful, but I expect her to never use it.I took one star off because of a slight smell. Not super strong, but it is there.

I purchase these for all of our chuck boxes for our American Heritage Girls troop. I love the easy storage and the set is very complete for everything they need for camp cooking. The cases have been very durable so far. The utensils are durable and easy to clean. The only small complaint is the cutting board is really tiny but I'm not sure they could make it much larger for the size of the storage.

These were purchased for our pop up camper, to store in the camper. The set is really nice. The fact that they pack away into a bag is even nicer. The utensils are secured with in the bag with velcro once placed in their individual pockets and I would have just eliminated the velcro. It doesn't close down enough to actually secure them. What is awesome about the individual compartments is that they will hold additional kitchen utensils, so I packed about 6 more knives securely in the pockets, rearranging the other utensils very easily and it all fits nicely.

Compact and useful is the best way to describe it. This item comes with the bag as shown in pics. so whenever you are going camping no need to worry about what you wanna carry for cooking just pick this bag and go. Quality is really nice and items are very light weight so easy to carry them. Comes with a small chopping board which is a difficult item to carry as in home we mostly have big ones only. What I really liked is that it is well organized and comes with the utensils one needs for camping all in one place. I like the cutting board side with the knife, spreader and scissors and I like that the scissors are a multi-tool. It looses a star because I don't like how thin the tongs, spoon, spatula and fork are, they feel cheap.

Excellent quality bag! Will be using this for our dutch oven for camping. Also has room to add in a few things such as wooden spoons for use with my backpacker pan set, a can opener, and my favorite pairing knives. I also purchased with this the Cutlery organizer utensil travel set in stainless steel with a matching bag to this bag. (Yes, I color cordenate my camping equipment... makes life easier when packing up from group camping) Also depending on your SHTF prepping it would pack nicely in a backpack for essential cooking supplies.

Carrier case is decorated, looks awesome and seems like it will last a while. Perfect tool choice but a few of them seem to be a little on the cheaper end. Absolutely great size and still a tiny bit of room for some utensils or spices. Excited to get some use and see how they hold up.
