I bought 2 because Waitrose/Ocado was out of stock for a while. When they arrived, I instantly noticed they were thicker and more grey/less silver). The first pad turned shabby after a few weeks. Thought it was an unlucky exception. Threw it out. Opened the second one. After one wash, it's already fraying (see image). Also, because they were bulkier than normal, it was harder to clean small corners. I'm not sure whether they were fake products, or the quality has gone down SO MUCH. The pads I bought from Waitrose or direct from e-Cloth over the last 10+ years would last for months! I'm going back to e-Cloth's own site and I will find out.Updated 6th June: Just used a newly-bought one from Ocado for one week, all looks and works as should. The size is also as expected, a touch smaller and less bulky than the knock-off version.

Lasted 2 weeks of normal use, the scouring side is now fraying. See photo. I bought one of these from John Lewsis which lasted 2 years. Decided to replace it and bought it on Amazon - it's either a fake or e-Cloth has gone downhill in quality and durability. Very disappointed.

Perfect substitute for Mrs hinches sought after "Minkeh". Great to have one wire side and one softer side. I have 4 and Use them for everything from the dishes to scrubbing marks off my painted walls. Washed in the washing machine and came out perfect. Would 100 percent purchase again.

This is not a review of how well the pad is functioning in regards to cleaning but in regards to bacteria. The general claim of E-Cloth is that their products remove 99% of bacteria, and that may be so in a test before they leave the factory. But in daily use, they produce lots of bacteria. This item seems to never dry in between use and as a wet cloth or pad is a splendid breeding ground for bacteria, it does not remove but adds bacteria every time you use it.

I've had these e-cloth washing pads twice before. The first time was years ago and they lasted ages. A few months ago, my elderly washing pads started developing holes around the edges so I thought I'd buy two new ones. They arrived and were used for a couple of months then they started developing holes. Okay, maybe I got a bad batch, I thought. I ordered replacements and they were delivered on 12th August. I used one pad for a few days and it developed a hole at the top of the scrubbing side. It went in the bin. The next one only lasted a couple of uses before developing a hole in the same area.I'm not doing anything weird with these washing pads. They clean the bottoms of my pots and my oven shelves, that's it.I contacted e-coth on Twitter and they are sending replacements. I'm not hopeful at this point but I'll update if they last more than a few weeks.I love the ethos and support this company but the quality of their products seems to have changed in the last few years. I might have to go back to buying disposable scrubbing pads as it'll work out much cheaper!

Thought I would give this a go instead of the minkeh craze. It’s brilliant amazing. The best cleaning pad out there. Perfect size too

love this product, had one before and the quality and durability is excellent!, the dual side washing pad allows for ease of use, whether you need a soft non abrasive clean, or a abrasive clean for hard surfaces, its also gentle on the pans you use as the material on the abrasive side is not made of metal, delight with the purchase will buy it again!p.s The packaging was also great, it had a plastic cover to protect it from scratching my other products that i had delivered in the same package,thanks for the thoughtfulness!

I wasn't so sure about this washing pad when I first received it, but now after over a week I am in love.Unlike all other types of sponges I have tried so far, it doesn't just suck oil and then smear it around, it's somehow let all oil down as soon as it touch it, and then u just continue on your dishes.The fact that so can just throw it in to my washing machine and it comes out in like new condition is a great bonus!
