I bought this for my wife to replace a previous wooden comb that our dogs had found and chewed to bits. She prefers to use a wooden comb over plastic because it is more gentle on her hair and because the natural oil from hair adds to the beauty of the comb over time. I think this may have been advertised as a beard comb but it is the same size as a normal hair comb and my wife uses it for her hair (she does not have a beard, thankfully). I have short hair and use a comb with finer teeth but my wife says the wide set teeth on this comb are perfect for combing through long wet hair without snagging the hair or breaking hair strands.This comb is still in great shape after 3 months of daily use. I expect it will probably last a life time, provided we keep our dogs from using it as a chew toy. I will note that the wood has taken on more of a green hue over time but this appears to be a natural change in the coloration of the wood (as opposed to some kind of mildew or something).

I bought one of these for my son and he loved it so much I decided to get one for myself! Very comfortable, solidly made, and smooth- very high quality. Also, I love the smell; it is supposed to be sandalwood- I use sandalwood essential oil, and it does not smell anything close to that. I think it smells like rosewater, but the smell has not dissipated at all, so I am assuming this may be what the actual sandalwood wood actually smells like? I also bought another sandalwood comb from another company and it smells exactly the same. Whatever the case, I am very chemically sensitive, and this does not bother me, and it is a great comb that I would definitely recommend!

Terrible quality. The comb has a crooked tooth and there are two major cracks along the comb. It looks like the comb cracked in the middle and was hastily repaired, really disappointed after reading all these fantastic reviews. I would not trust this seller. The quality of the wood looks a bit suspicious as well.

Lasted for a few months, barely used and it broke on me. I think the glue that was used to attach the bristles to the handle wore off.

Both my boyfriend and I use this comb and we absolutely LOVE IT. Its perfect for him because he has incredibly thick and wavy hair, and regular combs just don't cut it. As for me, my hair is VERY damaged so this comb is very gentle. Because of it's wide teeth, it doesn't pull on my hair with greatly helps with preventing breakage.We have been using this for about 5 months now and I'm still as in love with it as I was the first day I used it!

This comb is perfect to carry with you at all times. Since we got this come the family stopped using the plastic combs. My kids love to brush their hair with the wooden comb, we need t buy more because the two little ones are constantly fighting who gets to use first.

This comb is perfect for short beards or if you're trying to train your beard.. distributes oils and balm very well.. small enough to take on the go.. no static for smooth grooming.. doesn't pull my hairs either.. Highly recommended..
