Hands free run or walk with your best friend made easy
What a cool little invention! I started jogging with my Beagle mix in the mornings and realized rather quickly that it was a pain to jog with one arm static and controlling the dog. I looked on Amazon for something that might solve this problem and lo and behold: Stunt Puppy! This product allows you to run hands-free with few worries about the safety of your dog. The belt is fully adjustable and easy to do so. I was a little worried about the belt because I thought it would need loops which I do not have on any of my running shorts but loops are not required. The belt stays nice and secure around your waist while running. Another great feature is that the connector where the leash is attached to the belt slides with your dog from left to right in front of you so your pooch can explore both sides of wherever you are running without throwing you off. The leash length is just right for the safety of both you and your pet and is made of very strong bungee material to give your pet a gradual pull to let them know to keep running with you if they happen to fall behind or stop. This is a very well-made product and makes you WANT to run with your dog.

Have 2 dogs? Deciding between 2 different leases? Get this one!
I love this belt. Mostly because we have two strong dogs that pull. This belt eliminates a lot of the issues. I was deciding between two different running leashes. I chose this one because of the coupler to attach two dogs rather then two separate leashes. Before this leash, the dogs pulled in different directions, one would stop and sniff, one would get scared and stop dead in his tracks then start to run backward causing me to do a stuntman dive roll over him on the side walk. Overall, running was difficult. It was also painful. I was out of alignment and was feeling the results of being pulled and holding leashes awkwardly. Now running is comfortable. No more stop and sniff. No more stunt dives on my part. The dogs do not cross over each other. And when one tries to stop the momentum of the other keeps us all moving ahead. My husband and I share this belt so we wear it a bit looser and it fits us both without adjusting. My only complaint is mostly because my dogs pull. Being 5'3" the belt tends to fall at my natural waist which is higher up. When we take off the dogs want to run when I want to warm up walking. They pull and it can stress my back. To solve this I wear it lower on my hips and I have more control. When I get running it slips up to my waist or I move it up there. Problem solved.

BEST leash for runners..and anyone who wants to be handsfree
I could not be happier with this product! I am a petite woman, 5'3'' 110 lbs with a strong Weimaraner! This leash makes running and walking with her a breeze. The waist strap is very adjustable and it fits very comfortably around my waist/hip area. I love that the leash is bungee-like so it absorbs the pulling, and she does pull hard sometimes! I was a little skeptical about the strength of the bungee thinking that she would easily snap it, but it appears to be very durable. It's a bungee that is wrapped inside a nylon material for extra strength. I have only used it 4-5 times so far, but I love it. It's a godsend for runners because it allows you to concentrate on running and being able to use your arms rather than worrying about keeping a good grip on the leash. As for walking, it's wonderful to be able to use my hands to answer my phone or get into my pockets without having to juggle leashes. My only concern/dislike is the clips that attach the leash to the dog-they are a little small and hard to clip in sometimes. They don't seem like the most sturdy of clips, but so far I've had zero issues with them staying put. I'm just hoping they stay that way! All in all, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone--walker, jogger, runner, etc.

Great kit for jogging with my dogs
I have two of these, one is around 10yrs old, and the second about a year old. The new version has different snaps, which are a little clunky and difficult to unhook, but are bigger than the old version, so they’re easier to hook up. The new version also has an adjustable handle, making the length adjustable, which is a great upgrade - the shortest length is about perfect for walking, but the extra length is nice for jogging to create a little extra space. Both of ours are orange, which I like for visibility, and the elastic shock cable in the leash takes a lot of the potential jerking out of our jogging. I occasionally run by myself with both dogs, and with both leads hooked to one belt - which is great to be able to go hands-free and just run. Great quality hardware and fabric, and secure and well done stitching. We have a LOT of miles on our old version, and we’re already stacking a lot of miles on the new one.

If you run with your dog, buy this leash! You won't regret it!
I was very hesitant to buy this leash after reading some of the negative reviews (leash too short, low quality hardware, etc), but I saw it listed on sale and figured I would take a chance. I take my lab running a few times a week, and previously, I had always used a retractable leash. My two-year-old lab always ends up pulling at the end of the leash, even with a no-pull harness on, and it would really annoy me when we were out running and my arm and back would get sore from trying to rein her in! I also started developing a hip injury due to the asymmetrical torque she was putting on my torso, so had to keep switching the leash from hand to hand.I had seen other people using hands-free leashes, but I never bothered to get one before because I couldn't imagine they would make enough of a difference to buy a whole new leash. After one run with this hands-free leash, I will never run again without it! I hardly noticed my dog pulling, partly because she was slightly less inclined to pull with this leash (I think due to the bungee and the shortness of it), and partly because when she did pull, it was from a natural position on my body. Yes, the leash is pretty short, but I found that my (medium-sized, 60 pound lab) could run in front of me with no problem. If you pay attention to your running form and make sure your feet land underneath your body instead of in front of it (which can do horrible things to your knees over time), this leash will probably be plenty long. And I'm not sure what other reviewers meant about the hardware on the leash, because it seems to be very sturdy to me. I'm so happy because I actually look forward to running with my pup now!

Great for people with neck or shoulder injuries...
I purchased this waist belt after having a car accident. I was struggling with a whiplash injury that just wouldn't go away & after a while realized that my dog pulling on his leash might be aggravating it. I was right! After about a month of using the waist belt, the whiplash is under control & the pain is much less. I can finally continue with my rehab. Now this isn't a magic fix, but for anyone wanting to use their core to balance the weight of their dog, I would say it's worth a try. My dog is around 65lbs & it seems to hold him just fine, I'm not worried about it breaking at all. It took my dog no time at all to get used to it & I would say that he is actually pulls less with this leash than he did before. Perhaps he can feel the tension when the leash stretches so knows to stay close. The only thing that wasn't great is the size of the clip on the leash. I use a harness & the clip wasn't big enough to attach to it so I ended up buying a carabiner to make the connection which works fine.Overall, I think this leash is great. It's made out of good quality material & the price is very reasonable. I plan to continue to use the leash even when I have recovered fully as it gives me great control of my dog. I can't wait to try it out whilst running.

Absolutely perfect. Everyone who notices it asks me where to get one from. Bungee leash has the perfect level of tautness - dog doesn't need to pull too hard to extend it all the way, but it's strong enough of a pull that you can tell he notices when he tries too hard. Would definitely buy again!
