LOVE THIS HAT!!!- This is a very high quality hat, worth the money! Material is light and feels nice. I love the vents, the sturdy but foldable brim, and the under chin strap (an essential for us).- my toddler will give up and actually wear this hat. Other hats we'd try he'd rip off and throw on the ground. We'd try to pretend wear those other hats to show it's cool and he'd take them off our heads in disgust too. He still hates getting the hat put on, but actually wears this one. This is now our everyday summer hat.- his vision isn't impaired by the brim, which is something I worried about. It's shape and sturdiness keep it out of the way. I think this is one of the reasons he prefers it over the others.- It makes great shade! Does the job it's made for.- This hat is so cute! It brightens my day seeing him in it because it's just so adorable!- I got the size small (baby) for my 16 month old with a 98%tile head. It fit perfectly, but without room to spare. His head circumference is 49cm, which should've left some room according to the sizing chart. But, I would still have ordered the same size, because it fits great and I'd rather have it be perfect and get another one next year rather than meh but last 2 summers. And I will be ordering another for next summer. And all future summers and for all future kids and generally recommend this hat to all. It's expensive but I think worth having one great hat rather than several just-okay ones.

I bought the bucket hat size M for my then 5 year old daughter in 2016 and we are just now ready to move up in size. the adjustable strap in the back was very useful in adding to the life of this hat. You can buy the size M for a 3 or 4 year old and it will last you for 2-3 years! We travel to beach places twice a year and also wear this hat at home and it has held its color and shape over the course of 2 years. The brim stays in place and it is not floppy like other hats we tried before. My daughter used to get annoyed at the floppy hats getting in the way of her vision and she would take it off. I like that this hat is cute, practical and comfortable for kids to wear so there is no fighting for "keep your hat on" . the other feature of this hat that has proven very useful is that is collapses well for packing making it a perfect travel hat. I also have the sunday afternoon hat with the long brim on the back for extra neck protection but I like this one better for fashion.

I have another hat from this vendor. Unfortunately, this one didn't fit. But it's made well and looks great. I'm ordering a different size.

I have this sun hat at home and I bought it again as a second hat to keep at my toddler's preschool. They take the kids out twice a day to play in their playground which has little shading. This sun hat has made all the difference. He's two years old and wears it without any complaints. Super light and comfortable.

I got this Sunday Afternoons Kids Fun Bucket hat in royal blue size Large for my son. He’s 3 years old with a big head ~21.25”. The size large fits perfectly without having to tighten the sizing feature down at all. I wish there was more growing room, since I could’ve tightened down the hat if needed. This hat is so cute on him, and he loves the royal blue. The wide brim gives great sun protection and the strip of gray mesh fabric allows for some air flow, so he doesn’t get quite as sweaty. The strap only detaches on one side, so if you didn’t want a strap for some reason, you’d have to tuck it up inside the hat on the kids head. But since it’s windy here and he is constantly running, the strap is perfect for my kid. He has worn the hat all summer. It’s been washed a couple times and still looks brand new. I highly recommend this hat!

In terms of functionality, it is exceptional. Big coverage (the rim is hard enough to stay put and soft enough for you to fold) and ventilation! This is almost the only one that offers ventilation and has just one layer on the head (why people need double layers for summer?!)for 2.5 yo, it is certainly a bit large but you can adjust it by pulling the string. but even without doing it, it is kinda ok.only thing I wish they can improve is to make more lighter colors for boys. there are just this tan and blue. Blue is cute but hotter under sun. Tan is kinds too professional (even with the blue wave)...The white color has a bright flower on it thus not very suitable for boys.Lastly, it is pricy but there isn't anything else better than this. So got buy it.

We love this hat.If you kiddo is a chewer, the strap will definitely get chewed on and possibly demolished.I got a large for my 5 year old and it's a bit big, but I think it will last us at least 2 years.

I love that this hat can grow with her. It’s lightweight, it dries fast, and is fully size able. I also love the breakaway snaps.Def snag one for your littles. It’s such a great value for the price!

Great hat, can understand why the reviews were so good. Feels very well made. Mr 3.5 wears happily. We got medium and it’s perfect. Have ordered another for his younger brother.
