Surprising Great Results at Great Price!
For transparency I have never had or nor used one of these skull shavers so have no benchmark to compare. I have only been using this for one week so my review is based on that.Every year I get my head shaved to raise money to battle Children’s Cancer. Every year I say I am going to keep my head bald for some time (using a blade) but always let it grow back. I had been considering one of these head razors but found most are quite expensive. Given the uncertainty of what I was going to do I didn’t want to dump a bunch of money into one to find after a couple weeks I was done with it so it just collected dust in a drawer. Then I came across this baby. It has a lot of attachments aside from the skull shaver that I haven’t even broke the seal on. It appears well made. I like the LED power meter that says exactly how many minutes of use time are left on the charge. It is very light and nice finish. As far as the light weight at first grab made me feel it was cheap in quality but that was just a feel thing, again with no baseline of other models. It has a plastic housing so to be expected. Now to performance which drove me to 5 Stars. I was surprised and impressed on how well and close it shaves! Let’s face it, nothing electric can perform as close as a blade with shaving cream. This one however passes the eye test. If you didn’t rub your hand across your scalp you wouldn’t know this isn’t a blade shave! I am finding it takes a little getting used to in technique, working it to assure you don’t miss an area in your blind spots on the back and around the ears, but thoroughly impressed with performance. We’ll see how it holds up over time and as I get into the clean-ability and maintenance aspects but for now, this one checks all the boxes for me!

Great head shaver, bonus accessories are hit and miss
***July 2024 Update*** Received a well-known competing product as a gift this past holiday, so have moved on from the Kibiy for now. The blades of the competing product are better and sharper (at least for a few months), for sure, but I still say the Kibiy is a great bang-for-the-buck deal, especially since replacement blades are so inexpensive. No complaints, and still highly recommend this one!***Original Review*** Was looking for a way to try out shaving my head, but without the hassle of a cartridge safety razor. Other options were expensive, or were not optimized for head shaving. The Kibiy was not the first one that I looked at, but the price was good and it had some features that other more expensive options did not have, such as a sensor to tell when it needs cleaning during a shave.I tried it when it arrived, and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked! I tried it wet and dry, and I prefer using it dry. It is worth noting that some hair will fall out as you use it if you haven't shaved in a couple days. I can get quite a few shaves out of the battery, which estimates the amount of time you have left to shave with the battery, which is a great feature. The accessories are theoretically a really good value proposition, but the motor doesn't have a great deal of power and I find that the nose-hair trimmer pulls more, and doesn't do as good a job as my name-brand one. The beard-trimmer tool works pretty well despite the lack of power, though, and the added length guards work very well to customize cutting length. I haven't really found a use for the silicone pad and brush tools, but it's an interesting addition that someone probably knows how to use. My guess is they are meant to be a scalp massager and face scrubber, but I am not sure.Anyhow, this was a great purchase, as I am new to head shaving and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a tool that I wasn't certain would be a long-term investment. For now, I don't see a reason to get a more expensive option, so this has been money well-spent. Worth every dime, so far. Time will tell whether I ever need to move to another product, and so will I, with an update to this review if I ever change products, including the reason why.

For the price a good product
UPDATE to my first review: I've now used this for 10 weeks and am noticing a distinct loss of sharpness in the cutters. I use this every 3-4 days for my head. It clearly is taking longer to shave my head than when I first got it...and it feels like it's not doing the job as well...leaving the hairs a bit longer than when I first bought it. I still clean it after every use. I feel like "you get what you pay for" and I bought this because it was inexpensive and I wasn't completely sure I wanted to shave my head consistently. Now that I know I want a shaved head, purchasing a better quality razor is a good idea. I also tried using this on my face and DEF NOT! It does not have the power or sharpness for facial hair. Still need my trusty Braun for that task. I still think the idea of 6 heads is a good idea because when I tried my Braun facial razor on my head it takes a long time to cover all the area. FIRST REVIEW: I've used this for 6 weeks now and am mostly satisfied. It cuts well, although it's not what I would call fast. I shave my head about every 3 days and it handles the amount of growth well. It gives a relatively close cut but not baby bottom close...adequate for my requirements. I do clean it after every use. Open the 5 outter cutters, and remove the center cutter. Rinse it well under water and let it air dry. I also use a spray shaving lube prior to each use to help reduce the cutter friction and heat generated. It's possible the blades are starting to dull a little but they still give a relatively good cut. Removing the center cutter is not difficult but reinstalling it takes a little care...it's a very small twist to unlock and lock it. I understand how some folks could have trouble with it, although I do not. It is not the heavy duty quality my Braun face razor is, but so far it has held up OK. It does feel a little cheap, especially the six cutting heads, but again, so far so good after six weeks. Is it the fastest shaver? Probably not. Will it last a long time? I'm not sure yet, the price indicates it's on the cheap side but so far so good for me. I bought it because I was unsure if I'd like the idea of shaving my head and didn't want to spend a lot of money if it turned out I didn't like the whole shaving head thingy. Turns out I'm happy with the concept and if this fails I'll look for a better quality shaver. I did not receive any renumeration for posting this review FYI.
