This toy reminds me of the early construction toy kits from the 80s, which were just meant to experiment and get creative.My toddler is only able to assemble 2 or 3 pieces together, but we both enjoy creating silly looking characters with wheels and funny eyes.The box comes full of examples of stuff you can build easily, from vehicles to insects.This is a great quality toy, the materials are flexible enough to be put together with little effort.Once you build something however, it's very easy for it to fall apart, but that's part of the fun.

Unsere Kinder (3 und 5) lieben die Kid Knex und bauen sehr gerne damit. Jüngere Kinder konstruieren meist frei, aber ab 4/5 J können auf jeden Fall schon die ersten leichteren Bauwerke alleine nach Anleitung gebaut werden. Der Kreativität sind keine Grenzen gesetzt- leider nur durch die Anzahl der Teile, die durchaus mehr sein könnten. Die Anleitung (keine Schritt für Schritt) ist für mich ein großer Pluspunkt. Die verschiedenen Abbildungen fordern auch ältere Kinder heraus und bieten zahlreiche Ideen und Vorschläge, damit es nicht langweilig wird. Das Material ist robust und für Kinderhände gut zu bedienen (Achtung: Stecker müssen seitlich eingesteckt werden; sonst klappt es nicht). Wenn man den Dreh raus hat, ein vielseitiges Spielzeug, das mitwächst.Wir sind begeistert und wundern uns, dass die Knex nicht schon bekannter sind.Absolute Empfehlung ab 3 Jahren und ein prima Geschenk!

We have bought this for our 5 yr. old grandson for Christmas. Since he hasn’t played with it yet, I’m sure he’ll enjoy making different things with it. Depending on how much he plays with this, we may add onto this next year.
