The design elements of Homewood include body suspension, the meeting of horizontal and vertical solid planes and the extensive use of glass. Homewood's design features 2 panels of tempered glass each supported by 3 low profile stainless steel extension cylinders, which extend the 2 glass panels 3/4" off the body of fireplace. The cylinders are the only place where the body touches the glass. The glass extends to the floor on both sides leaving the body of the fireplace "floating" 3 1/4" above the ground.
