TEMO#816 Anti-Theft Wheel Lug Nut Removal Socket Key 3436 for Audi

I was carrying my wheel nut case in the trunk of my Q7 for last couple of years without realizing that the case has everything but the key. In fact I recently had Audi change my tires and no one ever told me that I was missing the key (is it a known practice?). Anyway, needed the key now to rotate the tires at Costco and felt the need to go buy it online. Checking for code on the case helped pinpoint which key/pattern I needed. TBH I was a little skeptical if the key would work but to my surprise, it worked flawlessly. Couldnt be happier. Thanks TEMO for saving the day.

Fits 2017 Audi Q5, but only worked for the first wheel. After that the tool wore out, deformed and no longer worked on second wheel.

It fits the pattern of my locks. Used it one time for all 4 wheels, don’t really know the durability of it yet. But it does work properly.

Lifesaver!!!! Audi dealership told me to make an appointment to take the locks off for 120 dollars or order a new lock for 110 dollars. WTH!!! A whole ten dollar difference... thanks for nothing Audi. I purchased a 60,000 dollar vehicle and they still try and bend you over. Other dealerships would have done it for free. No customer service on their part. Now I can take the locks off and replace with the old bolts the car came with. My mechanic wouldn't attempt to try and get them off because the locks are hardened steel. My advice if you own an Audi, remove the locks and get aftermarket ones. It is a nightmare if you loose your lock and you have to deal with Audi.

An Audi came in as a trade in without its wheel lock key. Ordered this up and it fit perfectly. Turned out that the last guy really tightened them down. My half inch MAC impact gun couldn’t loosen the wheel locks and I had to use the 3/4 inch impact gun to remove the lugs. The wheel lock had no damage even after this abuse. If this wheel lock key can survive that then it can survive any normal use.

Worked perfectly! Only needed for 1 use. Eliminated the problem by replacing the fancy lug nutswith traditional ones .

This may not be entirely fair - my lug bolt was really stuck on and this key bit did appear to fit. But this product broke/sheared off. I didn't try to return it as it's possible that this product shouldn't be expected to be that durable, but the money was spent and I got nothing from it so hence the low review. I added a star to it because the description of the pattern and its code was well documented and I felt confident that I was getting the right pattern.

Bought this as a replacement to lost oem lugbolt key. Audi dealer wanted $90 to order a replacement. Crazy dealer prices. This worked perfectly.

Do not waste your time on this. The key is not deep enough and is so low quality it strips just looking at it. I waited for this to replace a key and it was a total waste of time.. Not only is the key portion not deep enough, the lug itself is slightly too big to securely take the nut off as it has way to much wiggle room.

Did work on 3 bolts out of 4. Save your self the hassle, go get the Original. Ps did not use the impackt

I know things are missed up right now but when I order something and it says will be here tomorrow then I expect it the next day not a few days later. Not sure if it’s the vendors fault or Amazon but some of use rely on those timings.

I had a stripped wheel lock bolt that would not come off. This key gripped it anyway , and allowed me to remove my winter rim. Thank You !

Not only is this a low-quality item, but it also does not fit.
