Upon box opening, the remote was out of the plastic and just thrown in the box, same as the fan. At first impression I was sure I received someone’s returned item that was just thrown in the box.This fan operates pretty quietly, even on highest speed. No complaints there. However when turned on, it makes a humming noise on the one side and I was concerned it wouldn’t work. It did work fine but the noise is there on every start up, it sounds like it won’t last long. On the highest speed setting, it’s like being on low. I have a Holmes twin window fan and the low setting is 10x’s better than the high setting on this one! And lastly while having a remote is super convenient, when pressing a button on it to change the function, the beeping sound it makes is very loud and unnecessary. I will be returning this and purchasing another Holmes.

We ordered 2 fans. Delivered on time and in good condition. Remotes work fine. They are light weight and function as expected. The problem lies in the corrugated extensions that help the fan fit into the window. At each corner, a screw holds the end piece onto the extension arms. This is where the design flaw exists. The plastic is too thin around the screw and the end piece comes off rather easily and there's not really a way to fix it adequately. I expect more for what they charge for these fans. You can charge that amount for a quality fan, or charge less for the cheap, plastic fans that they are. As is, it's a bit overpriced for the build quality and a bit disappointing.

Fits in my window perfectly. Not having A/C is brutal! I just set it up so I'm hoping it stays working. I really wanted a fan that sucked out the hot air while blowing in cooler air. It was pricey but so far worth it. And it was delivered a day earlier than projected.

The chirp that occurs when pressing the button reminded me of the chirp of a smoke detector. My plan was to make adjustments to speed and/or turn it on/off in my toddler's room after the sun went down. This was a no go for me with the chirping that was happening you press the button, which is often since you have to press it 6-7x per cycle (High, each temp setting at high, tehn again to Low) before you can turn it off. I returned this for the Holmes window fan that doesn't chirp or beep with every press of a button. Seemd to operate the sames as the Holmes window fan otherwise .

It’s what I wanted & placed in the window to pull the hot air outside. Can only run it a few hours @ a time before it gets too hot. Afraid it’ll burn up. Using it cautiously and only while I’m in the room. Has just quit working on left side returning it.

Works very well so far. Bought the comfort zone model previously and one of the fans broke within a few months. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen to this one. Remote works well, fans are pretty quiet. I’m a happy camper as long as it doesn’t break quickly. The extenders are never long enough to put it vertical but it doesn’t affect the ability for it to blow in and out air.

Complete lemon. Smells like bunt wire even after replacement, I do not know why Amazon still carries this items on its platform, and how did this item ever pass QA? The smell is terrible even after days of running, I am not sure the impact of this product on health of users. AMAZO, if you are reading thi review, PULL THIS PRODUCT FROM YOUR PLATFORM..!!
