Bought this when pulling the head of an 05 A6 3.2 after the camshaft sprocket bolt came loose. Worked fine, and after replacing the bent valves on one head, the engine runs again. Shame the transmission was shot!

Nice Timing Tool kit for (some) VW and Audi engines
A a professional automotive technician, I appreciate quality tools at reasonable prices. Vehicles repair is becoming more difficult as of late because of all the specialty tools required to do what used to be simple repairs. The aftermarket is finally able to offer these type of tools for reasonable prices which means I can afford to own the necessary equipment to do my job correctly and timely.This engine timing tool set is an absolute necessity for servicing timing chains and some related repairs on certain VW / Audi engines. This set is awesome in the fact that it comes in a plastic case to keep everything together and organized. All of the pieces appear to be manufactured of quality materials and the fit/finish is nice. I have yet to use these tools yet but feel confident they will perform well once I do.I own some other PLAYOCCAR timing kits and have been very impressed with all of them. This kit is no exception and is worthy of 5 stars all day long.

Nice kit, has all of the special tools I need for chains on my 3.0T
I checked the tools against the special tools required for my chains in VW’s Elsa system and all corresponding part numbers appear to be there. Seems like everything is made of good materials and of quality construction.

Will bend and be useless
Ordered this in advance for timing chain replacement, had my daughter so my husband just got around to changing the timing chain after the chaos of a newborn settled, missed the return window by three days but they are not sturdy and bent without doing anything, ended up having to spend additional $ to get different tools so we’re just out the $90 spent on something that is going to be thrown out. Don’t buy.
