Very nice and well built
Very sturdy construction. Ordered some live ladybugs and they crawled right in.

Do ladybugs live in houses?
I really really hoped this would work. I did read reviews before I bought it. Once summer hit, we developed a huge bug problem on our tomato plants. I ordered this habitat along with about 1500 live ladybugs (true, some of them had died during transport). I followed the instructions and recommendations as best as I could and even used ladybug nectar around the tomato plants (very near to where I had installed the habitat). When I released the ladybugs, three or four of them actually flew into the bug habitat. I still kept hope that they would find refuge in the house during the night (like it said in the instructions). However, when I checked again, there were only three ladybugs to be found! I tried spraying ladybug nectar into the habitat, but still the next day, there were absolutely zero ladybugs anywhere in my garden. What was there was a plethora of uneaten ladybug food (bugs) all over my tomato plants and the sinking feeling that I had just wasted about $50. I'm so disappointed that I haven't even bothered to take the habitat down and still, no ladybug wants anything to do with it.

It is just plain brown
It does not have the colorful flowers on it like in the photo. The lady bugs did not come to it and they did not stay when I purchased some.

Pretty lady bug habitat
I want to buy a lady bug house for our four year old great granddaughter. This looks so pretty, but there are no details about material it's made of except to say it's biodegradeable. Sounds like it won't last long. How can I get that information? And I don't see any reviews.

Ignored by 1500 ladybugs
I got this house, but it up on a wooden trellis, and then released a package of 1,500 ladybugs into the garden...very near the house. Not a single one stayed in the house. I tried pouring sugar water near it, to bring them back into area. Still nothing. Now its just a big eyesore in the garden.I'm in AZ. So maybe the heat was an issue...but it was Spring (nice weather).

The house failed
I purchase the ladybug house in the food to go with it and not one ladybug enter the house so I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of this house is far

Ladybug Habitat
I put them inside the little house prior to release so they could "home-in" on it, but they never returned.
