The product seems to be well made and the adhesion really sticks well if you don't have to pull it off to reposition it. I installed the product as per instructions but I could not close the door no matter how hard I slammed it. I put it in a different location and I could see a lot of light so in the end I removed it to the trash can and because the adhesion works so well now I have to repaint the jam because it removed the paint. I'm not down grading the product because I should have studied the install instructions more carefully.

I bought this weather stripping because of a persons reviews he suggested to use on an Igloo cooler he bought. I did purchase the same cooler on at a way better price. The gasket is for the lid...The Glue was all dried out, it was actually adhered to the "peel-n-stick" tape. Upon returning it I left it as I tried to use it, and whomever opens the package to see for themselves and tries will easily agree..It's no good..Better off going to your local hardware store and looking for window or door seal products.

Overall product is great, the adhesion is great, though due to packaging where it was foldedIt takes a little bit of fiddling to straighten and stick on. And at those same points, occasionally the removable tape for adhesive ripped. Not a deal killer but just a note

If not for the difficultly of removing the adhesive backing, this would be a decent product. I had to use a utility knife blade to get between the backing and the weather stripping. On one of the strips, this caused the adhesion to come off along with the backing. I tried applying loctite glue to compensate, but this wasn't a very successful remedy. The adhesion is...ok. One part of the strip I applied around my door already came off and another piece has already come loose. So as you can guess, I don't recommend this product and won't order it again.

We've been trying to address our drafty front door for the last two years. After several failed attempts with "D" shaped weatherstripping, I read that "V" shaped weatherstripping might do the trick. Both the door and the doorframe have moderate to severe warping, and some sag as a result of an earthquake last year, so I wasn't expecting anything too great. This exceeded my expectations.Install was easy - we cleaned the surface of the door frame and door (might as well clean the door while we're at it), let it dry, and then started at the bottom of one side to work our way up and around the frame. The adhesive was a bit of a bother initially, as the adhesive backing wouldn't separate easily, but once we got it started it seemed to have good hold.We'll see how the product performs over the winter, but so far, there is a significant decrease in cold air flow coming into the house.Cheers!

I like this, but the tape was on the different side, it was much easier to install.

I was concerned the sticky wouldn’t hold… doing well so far.

My door is now hard to open and close. The strip does what it's supposed to do.
