How often have you ran into a tool and wondered if it worked, only to try it and then think 'shoot, how'd I ever do without this?'. Great feeling isn't it? I never knew this tool even existed until I saw it for sale but that's what I said to myself after using it for the first time.Item is solidly made and quite rugged. It has decent heft for its size. Simple to use, just follow the demo video. After purging air, filling lighter and repeating the process one more time my lighter was full up to a level that I hadn't seen since I bought it new.Safety advice side note: I used it with a fan blowing horizontally over the lighter and across the table away when from me (and the kids and the pets... but mother-in-laws can be down wind no problem) to minimize exposure to any butane gas/vapor. Unburned butane vapor gives me a wicked headache quickly if I inhale even a small amount. And I'd consider washing your hands too when done.

I used a into screwdriver to bleed my lighter and over time the end of the lighter would warp and leak. Now it’s easy to bleed and no more warping. Also the gas is expelled to the side and not up making it safer to use.

The tool works great. I used to struggle to fill my cigar torch lighters. Happy to say, that’s not longer the case!

I learned recently from Delicia the Cigar Vixenthat not all butane is of the same quality and could effect the functionality of your favorite lighter. I used this handy device to drain air and low-quality gas from all of my dead lighters.It vents gas to the side avoiding the blowbackone might experience from using a screwdriver or other pointed instrument to depress the fill valve in your lighter. After refueling with Xikar premium butane, also available on Amazon, all of my graveyard lighters now work flawlessly. Buy this gizmo before you replace any more butane lighters.
