PRIMA 3IN1 CHOLESTEROL,TRIGLYCERIDES,GLUCOSE TEST METER KIT

These guys are awesome! I order my kit. But the glucose test strips did not get included. I contacted the seller, but I also ordered more strips. I received no arguments from the seller! Their strips even arrived before the ones I ordered did. The meter is easy to use and works well.

Having one device to get all three tests is a major plus and great idea. There are three items that seem to be the biggest challenges is 1) trying to swap the "data chip" and "test strip" between each test while you have a finger that has been pricked with blood is difficult, as you try to keep that one finger out of the way while you are swapping chip and strip. 2) If you are used to testing your glucose with other devices and even this device it doesn't take more than a drop of blood. Testing your cholesterol and triglycerides will require a larger drop, ~2 times larger. 3) Most of the time I have to prick my finger at least twice or even three times as you try to provide the blood for one test and swap chips and strip, that prick on your finger may close up.I'm hoping for the next great idea by Prima is to have the chips built into the device and you only need one strip to give you results for all three tests instead of giving three drops of blood.

None of the included cholesterol and triglyceride strips worked. E02 code, which after much research on the internet, I found it means the strip has been compromised. Nothing about error codes in the included documentation. The glucose strips work, but I already had a glucose meter. Very disappointed. I ordered from Canada so returning the product may not be feasible. Lesson learned. After this experience, I'll have a hard time believing the positive reviews on Amazon are genuine.

I purchased this product to measure my cholesterol levels. The instrument only gives a reading on total cholesterol. I would like to have it broken down by LDL and HDL etc... I am revising my rating because the seller makes a good point on the performance and price point of the product. The test kit is a good value to measure total cholesterol. With this kit I can save time and money and trips to the Dr office and still monitor my Cholesterol at some level.

glucose is useless (when you already have a blood glucose meter)The kit itself could be more easy to use (design of those meters could have done 2 measures on 2 different 'input' at the same time ...)
