We have had success with these. We cleaned the areas with alcohol, and after lots of weather (hurricane Florence), hot, cold, they are all still up. They have been holding decorative lights against our wall for the last few months. I would use them again.

Worked great for hanging our Christmas lights. I like that the hooks are clear. However, the strips themselves are white. So the clear hooks are a moot point. Might as well buy the white hooks in that case because the white stripes are very visible.

Not as good as I remember these to be. These are not sticking to fresh, dry and warm paint on the exterior wood surface of our house. I've had to use two every 15-20 inches just to support a standard small brown extension cord and even then, still have problems with them falling off.

We like these for sturdy hangers to let our syringes and tubing for g-tube feedings to air-dry. We label the area above each hook and have yet another way to organize tools while they are being properly cared for.

Bought these to hang outdoor patio lights. Good so far but we will see if they withstand the rain.
