I don't ever write reviews for anything, but this e-collar deserves it. And I'm also doing this for bird dog owners as a guy who has used many other types of collars like Garmin, SportDog, DT Systems, etc. This is probably the most efficient and easy to use collar I've messed with, and other products can't touch the sensitivity that comes with it. I always test the stim on myself just to feel what the dog will feel, and it's true, the stim is softer and not harsh like other collars. Being able to adjust the "bump" is huge, because (specifically if you're a bird dog owner) we all know chasing and other intense distractions take a special level of jump as opposed to basic training. And if your dog is chasing, or you need to adjust the level on the go, you can raise the level of stim while holding down the continuous. So having that ability is great. Tone: Personally, I love that the collar goes to continuous after 1.2 seconds, basically removing a step of having to switch to another button so reenforcing different commands depending on the number of tones is much easier. Overall, this collar is awesome, ergonomically, functionally, everything. I'll probably sell my garmin rig and use this for my pointer. (purchased for a boykin spaniel)

Today was my first day trying these out on my 13lb Spitz and 5lb Pomeranian. Lola my pom is a yapper, and Leo my Spitz is an alert dog so they were constantly barking at every sound they heard outside, every dog they passed, and every person that walked by. I could never open my patio door or take them to the park. I tested this on a low setting on my arm before attaching them to my dogs. I couldnt really feel anything at 9, but there was definitely a buzz on 12-13. I kept it on 12 for a bit to get them conditioned, and slowly increased it to an 18- where Im keeping it at for now. The point is to startle and distract them when barking and not hurt them, so i dont see a reason for going any higher; especially on small dogs like mine. Lola is stubborn and doesnt come when called, but after one zap, she comes the first time. To test/train them, I walked them both by all the apts with dogs (especially ones sitting out on the patio) to see if they'd bark, which of course they did. But one zap and that stopped. I then quickly told them QUIET and rewarded them with praise and a treat. After they got used to not barking, I even took them both off their leashes. Leo usually gets excited and runs off, but not this time! I called and zapped him when he didnt listen and he came running back and remained by my side (both of them) for the remainder of the walk. The device was even good for training them to leave something when they were eating/sniffing at something they wereng supposed to. Again, Id zap once and when they stopped, Id say LEAVE IT and praise them and give a treat. Id say our first go was a success and with consistent training, this will work like a charm. The only downside is maybe that the collar is a little heavy for small dogs. The strap is super long so you can cut it to fit your dog, but the device is on the bulky/heavy side.

I didn’t want to resort to e collar. I did lots of research and found This to be the best for what I needed for my minpin. I’ve been using it for high distraction areas, leave it, greeting people, recall, and heal. She is very excitable when seeing peoole and dogs This is helping her. Her heal is amazing on walks now loose leash walking without this collar with her harness. I want a well mannered pup as well as allowed to be a dog and run free. I would not recommend buying this without learning how to use properly. Hire a trainer or watch the training videos so you do not harm your pup. It’s a great tool as well as many rewards, positive reinforcement and only use when general commands are mastered. It’s not to just shock your pup because it isn’t behaving. It’s for training purposes. It works great easy to use, stays charged for a long time. I like the option of vibrate or beep and the Boost. I need the boost when she is in high distraction areas with lots of people and dogs But we did six months of training before I used this. I was encouraged to use a prong collar but that wasn’t a good option for me because her neck is so tiny this was much better. Has a light as well and flashing Light for night time.

What a big difference! I made my dog suffer unnecessarily by using a cheaper dog trading e collar. My dog is almost 2 years old now, and I am having to almost start from square 1 with her training. Today Marks day 1 of using the mini educator and wow! I am impressed. I can finally dial in the intensity level to a point where my dog doesnt get confuse by having too much intensity, or by timing of correction being off. I am glad I decided to give the mini educator a try. I owe it to my family and my dog. Now I know I have the adequate tool to get my dog on track with her training and help her develop her full potential. The mini educator is loaded with very nice features, and I love the fact that no matter when I click a button, the communication between transmitter and receiver is reliable! No more unnecessary suffering and confusion for my dog, and no more frustration for me. My dog is a 100 pounds cane corso, and I work with her at level 12, where she hardly feels a tiny sensation to help her concentrate on the task on hand. The build quality of the mini educator is definitely professional grade, and the features and functionality are superior!. The layout of the remote or transmitter, are very intuitive and easy to use. This manufacture has definitely spent alot of time designing this equipment. A+ product guys! Save yourself and your dog all the headaches, pain, and frustration associated with cheaper and inferior products.
