FLEXCUTCarving Tools

I'm just new at wood carving and I'm pleased with these knives. They arrived with very sharp blades, ready to use. The quality of the knives is very good. The blades are strong and because the shape of the handle is curved and not very long, they fit well in my small hands. I recommend these knives for anyone wanting to try wood carving. In the future if I need to add to my collection, I definitely will see what Flexcut has to offer for whatever I need.

perfect for fine detail

I use these for lino cutting, so comments are in that context. The tools fit the hand nicely enough and are sharp enough. This selection of blades was not the best for the intended purchase - I followed up with the 'deep-U' set and it is better suited. Most of these blades dive into the lino and make it tricky to get an even cut- you have to keep the blade angle really low to achieve one. Most of these tips are not suited to lino- except the single U included, which is why the other set is considerably better. Even then the metal tip is too flexible in my opinion, making control more difficult, and is the reason I dropped a star in the rating. So, not bad, but not fantastic.

These are great tools! I have always used Flexcut tools in 25 years of carving. These tools are one size above the very, very small type like veining v-tools and sweeps, etc.In my opinion, Flexcut tools are sturdy, dependable quality tools. Probably not the very top of the line, but close.

I have several Flexcut Knives and tools. These are no different as for Quality than what I already have. Great tools for beginner to expert. Came razor sharp from manufacturer.If I had any issue it is with the way the order was handled. Order was for two Items that were ordered at the same time, same supplier as listed on Amazon both paid for at checkout. Items arrived on separate days. Items are small enough to be shipped together.

Great product. Nice and sharp. Great for those little details. The shaft felt a little flimsy but I’ve always had a heavy hand and I haven’t broken these yet so that’s a good thing.
