St. Joseph New Catholic Bible (Large Type)

I’m trying to find out if this has the old and New Testament but can’t find that anywhere. I haven’t seen it because I sent it directly to my granddaughter but I’ll see her tomorrow and see for myself. It’s important to know and I’ll be disappointed if not both. Also no space for questions and answers, y not? My grand daughter is very happy with it according to her mom ( my daughter) she carry’s it around and reads it often. For the above reasons I could not give it5 stars.

Great bible copy ,great stories

Very disappointed when I opened the Bible and found it was not large print just normal print like in any other book you would buy. The foot notes are very tiny and the red print is very light and hard to read.It is a great Bible otherwise especially the study guide. But I need a Bible I could read without a magnifying glass in one hand and my Bible in the other. Also one page was not trimmed right and has a deep crease in it so when you straighten it out it goes beyond the cover and sticks out. It is Not LARGE PRINT !

Although I love this Bible this version ISBN # 978-1-953152-27-5. No. 614/22 is not as Large Type as i hoped. For an older person. My older Bible is truly Large Type it is actually called Giant Type it is ISBN # 978-1-947070-40-0. No. 617/19BG. It has a soft leather like cover so I tried to get a hard cover.

Finally, a modern Catholic bible with "full of grace" instead of "favored one", with footnotes that aren't liberal garbage. Print is smaller than "large", but bigger than the average bible print size. Also, hard cover doesn't have rosary or stations of the cross meditations. This is a good modern translation faithful to church teaching. The only thing I don't like is that "man" has been replaced in many instances with "human beings". Structurally, it is well made and comes with a lifetime guarantee against defects. I recommend this bible especially for study and RCIA.

This is a great bible because of all the notes and helps that are there to assist you to have an understanding of what you are reading.It seems very sturdy and the print is easy to read.I cannot fault it.
