Effective, Attractive Thread Spool Holders--Long Spindles
They look attractive and the long spindles held my thread well. I would buy more if I had more wall space. They are great. I highly recommend them. Plus, they were easy to install.

Sturdy and holds plenty of thread
This can hold all sorts of sizes of spools, including those for a serger. The secret is straws. Cut a straw the length of the spool plus as much as you need to project just beyond the spool. Put the straw on one of the spokes. Then put your spool on it. Holds fine. If you are using serger spools, they won't fit immediately next to each other. Put one every other spool and stagger the rows. Then you can put a regular thread spool in between.Spokes may be too thick for things like bobbins. Again, straws. I cut the straw to length, slice it to the height of the spoke, and then squeeze it to make it narrower. Now it narrows to the center hole of the bobbin.Well made. Just mount it properly horizontal on the wall or it will drive you crazy! Recommend.

Simple & Effective Spool Rack
Bought the 4-pack and, after mounting, ordered a second 4-pack. Mounting was easy to do accurately thanks to the keyhole type mounting plates in the upper rack corners.Hold rack in place on wall and mark the top of the keyholes. Drill at marks for provided plastic wallboard insert. Press/tap inserts into holes. Screw provided screws into inserts, leaving then protruding about 1/4". Place bottom (larger) part of rack keyhole over screws, slide rack down so narrow part of keyhole surrounds screw, and tighten screws flush to keyhole plate. Simple and secure.

Love!
Easy to install. Since it came in 4 pieces you can arrange them how it works best for you. I can see all my thread now. No more digging around to see what I have. Wish it came with a cover for dust, but I am sure I can throw something together.

All my spools in a row!
I had spools of thread in 2 sewing boxes and several drawers. I ordered a set of these to see if I could get organized. I hung 4 in a square shape on the wall and emptied both sewing boxes and a drawer. This is my second set of 4 racks ordered and canβt wait to get them hung. Colors grouped by shades and easy to locate. Perfect!!

sturdy
Just what I needed. I sew for a living and have hundreds of spools of thread. These racks are perfect for what I want. All my thread is now on display, I can find what I need in a hurry. The racks are sturdy and spaced so I can remove a spool easily. They have different sizes too, very handy.

Spool racks work great!
Pegs are tall enough for a bit taller spools. And enough space between pegs & rows.I hung them together with zip ties .

Use picture hanger hooks
If you've got a firewall behind your drywall in your apartment, you won't get far with the wall anchors and screws. Use large picture hanger hooks instead and masking tape to help align everything. These look great. ππ
