Reject peices and rough uneven cuts
Looks nothing like the picture. Thses look like peices that nobody would buy after seeing them. The cuts aren't even and they are different thicknesses. One is dead on 5/8th onch. The other is closer to a 1/4th inch. They have a couple redish stains too. We don't have any stores that carries anything like this. I was excited to find these on Amazon till i got them. Very disappointed and feel like a fool for ordering them.

Nice Wood…of what is actually there
So I paid for two complete knife scales and received 1 & 3/4. It’s a steep cost for these anyway, but then to get the first piece off the line that is missing a corner all of the way down isn’t really ok for the price. The wood is beautiful but I don’t think it is too much to ask for two complete knife scales.

Very nice color and grain pattern
I used this scale for my very first knife. They were flat and in good shape. Finished with several coats of Tung Oil. Came out rich, dark, and with a very nice grain pattern that did not require any stain.Good quality I will buy again.

Properly cut, nice pattern!
The pattern was the highlight of this product. There were no significant irregularities... Color, pattern, and cut was as expected.I had a positive experience!

Not as pictured
The item as pictured shows the quartersawn exposed side on the flat surface but what I received is quartersawn on the edge. That makes it not usable to me for the knife I’m making.Disappointed.

Nice looking wood
Too bad they are slightly warp. At 3/8ths thickness they don't give you enough room for sanding them flat and then shape the handle.

No pattern,plain wood.
The scales I received were plain as could be . No exotic patterns. I'm not even going to use them. Disappointed

Scales were Crack and split completely useless. Sent back for a refund.
These scales were barely big enough to make a handle out of and because of this I can't cut off the cracked and split parts to have usable pieces. And no telling how deep the cracks go I can see some of the going all the way through. Pretty sure if I tried to drill holes they would split right in half.
