Assembly instructions or non-existent
Good quality and well made. But assembly instructions consist of a blurry drawing identifying the pieces and parts. I have an un-nerving amount of leftover bolts and nuts. Also, the thing is heavy as hell once assembled requiring two people to mount it in the receiver hitch.Update: I used it twice for my wife’s mobility scooter that weighs 275 lbs. well within the load range. The carrier sagged so much it would drag on the slightest bump. The manufacturer must never have seen an 1 1/2” receiver hitch because it just doesn’t fit.Very disappointing. Sending it to recycle.

Bad design bad customer service
I bought this ramp cause it fit my needs. That was until I found out the hard way that they have any issue with the flip up design. The lock pin that is supposed to hold the ramp in place when you place it In The vertical position is to short and does not hold the ramp In Place causing it to swing out and rub against the bumper. In my case it damaged the bumper by scratching and digging into the plastic. I notified titan ramps and basically they said it was a compatibility issue and then thru through out this discloser that they aren’t responsible for any issues that their product caused because you agreed when you purchased the product. They know they have any issues and even asked me to see if I could find a replacement myself in their first communication with them. After multiple emails they don’t want to resolve the issue and know I am left holding the bag to fix my damage on my own. Very bad business practices on there part. If you buy this beware. I have used this item three times.

Good design potential
Ramp needs vertical center reinforcement for stability.

Well Made and a Good Value at a Reasonable Price
Assembly was easy. It looks very good, is sturdy and well built. It is perfect for small and medium mobility scooters. It is rated for 500-Lbs. The rack folds securely and doesn't rattle at all. My only recommendation for improvement is the right side cutout for a handle is not usable when the ramp is folded and stowed. I recommend using two 4" wide handles mounted outside the frame for lifting to the stowed position. The locking ring pins are too tight in the holes provided and had to be drilled out in order for them to be used more easily. All in all, it is just what I needed and I am happy with my purchase.

Not Good
We bought this ramp for my husband's wheel chair transport,it's not durable enough and the ramp tetters left and right therefore the chair also slides. We have tied the chair down and still almost lost it twice this isn't for heavy wheelchairs at all .In my opinion a waste of money.

IT WORKS for us lower income handicap folks.
This carrier works to haul my little Elite Go Go scooter around. Everything has a cost benefit relationship, so for the price this carrier works, but there are hidden shortfalls. Who buys such things? Handicap people. So getting this installed isn't a snap. You can't see the thing once installed. It adds length to the vehicle and doesn't fit in a standard length parking space. Carry a hammer and a screwdriver so you can tap in or tap out the pins, when needed. Needs a flange end on ramp to get scooter on easier. Needs a flag holder outside in 3/8 inch or larger for a dowel rod x 24 inches + so you estimate the end of it when backing. The longer than usual folding ramp is both a blessing for lower slope and a hinderance trying to fold it together. Watch your fingers. Hold on to the carrier when raising it vertical (not in use). The hinge type connector sticks out and will bang and dent the back of the vehicle. This flange that sticks out should be rubber coated, covered or something. But then of course the cost goes up. I'm using a F-150 regular cab short box, I can tell there is an extra 300 pounds (loaded) back there. You can spend a bunch more on one of these carriers. They even have electric lift ones out there for hundreds more, but this one will work. Buy a cover for your scooter, two tie down straps (ratchet), a security cable (so no one can easily steal your scooter), 1/2 " 2 foot PVC pipe with end cap for your dowel rod with flag, 3 hose clamps to attach it to the ramp in vertical position. Fast and friendly service from Titan combined with no sales tax and free shipping and for less than two bills you are in business. Two of the four rubber hand protectors are already gone, they should have been super glued on. IT WORKS and is recommended for the non jet set crowd. If I had the bucks....... well you know, if we all had the bucks we could solve a bunch of things.

Junk
No instructions not even a picture.payed extra for 3day shipping took over a week to get.nothing fits right .holes are all different sizes.everything fits loos and flops around everywhere.it’s a JOKE! I’m a welder and machinist luckily so I cut it apart and welded it back together so that it actually works instead of sending it back.had to weld holes up and re drill them the right size so the pins would work.most people would have just had to send it back after waiting over a week to get it.ridiculous!
