I bought these for my 2020 gmc sierra slt x31 pickup truck to help deter anyone from trying to steal my license plate and frame and shipping was fast thanks i love’em

So I bought these last month they did not work for my license plates, requested a longer size they agreed to send me bigger ones between 7 to 10 business days, its been almost a month and still havent received anything, very dissapointed I really liked them they look good but unfortunately they lied to me 😭

They sell two versions of this product: one with self-tapping screws and one with machine screws. At this price I would expect both to be included in this set. ***Make sure you order the right set by removing a screw from your front and back plates and checking!*** "Theft Deterrent" because the screws are "star-type" not slotted, Phillips, hex-outer or hex-inner/Allen. So don't lose the bit or key that comes with these screws or you won't be able to sell your car! (Such wrenches are available, just not common). Comes with covers that you may or may not choose to use. A good price for an odd item. You might find such screws at a high-end hardware store but they probably would not be black. Painted to resist rust. Order 2 sets if you have front and back plates.

But after seeing this product and thinking about it, I realized how important license plate security is. Perhaps the price point should include two full sets of security screws that you can use on two vehicles. Even so, it's still a great value as is.IMPORTANT REMINDER: Be sure to store the specialized wrenches in a safe place. Otherwise, you won't be able to unscrew the security screws if needed.BOTTOM LINE: The ZXFOOG License Plate Security Screw set is a quality product that is a snap to install. Since I like to keep things simple, I just used the screws and lock washers. And I'm very satisfied with the results.

The screws fit my Dakota just like the originals. The stainless steel is mainly why I got these; my old screws were rusting and making a mess.The anti theft is mainly from using a tamper resistant torx type screw head. It comes with a couple of torx bits to fit. These are widely available, but it is harder to remove than a regular screw, and crooks are lazy.There are some replacement snap in anchors if you need them. Very handy.The screws come with some other dodads. Plastic caps that I didn't use. Some foam anti vibration pads. A key chain?

These are not true 1/4” shank. I understand manufacturing tolerances and deviation, but these are off by enough that they won’t engage the walls of the license plate brackets for my F150.
