metisinno Magnetic Base Compatible with PopSocket Phone Grips and iPhone MagSafe Cases, White

The magnet is super strong. Like so strong that my magsafe case has a bit of an indent where the magnets are now. Because it's so flush, it was hard to get off until I added my popsocket. Now it pulls off super easily.This is such a great idea, I love that I can use any old-school adhesive popsocket without killing the magsafe feature. I thought I wouldn't like it blocking so much of my case but I actually think my popsocket looks better with this base, like it frames it.Only downside to consider is that magsafe forces you to center the popsocket on the phone, folks with small hands will have to get used to a bit more of a reach up to hold the phone.

Have had this product for 2 years now, and I love it. It works and has never detached. Good quality, I recommend

I love this little product, the magnets are just strong enough to hold on for most cases, they don’t go flying off super easy. It allows me to throw on a pop socket super fast for watching videos or just to have a better grip on my phone but I can take it right off to slip my phone into a tight pocket or something similar.

I have both the metisinno Magnetic Base and the PopGrip for MagSafe. Comparing the two, the PopGrip for MagSafe has significantly stronger adhesion than the metisinno Magnetic Base.I actually like how the metisinno Magnetic Base looks more than the PopGrip for MagSafe, but unfortunately the metisinno Magnetic Base has come off a few times while I was using my phone. For example, when plugging in a charging cable, I was surprised to see my phone slip off the metisinno Magnetic Base. And when holding the metisinno Magnetic Base and pressing the power button on the iPhone, I can feel the metisinno Magnetic Base sliding during the button press.I haven't had my phone slip off the PopGrip for MagSafe yet due to the stronger adhesion. The stronger adhesion for the PopGrip may be caused by 1) stickier material underneath the PopGrip and 2) the fact that the PopGrip also attaches to the magnet underneath the magnetic ring rather than just the magnetic ring.When my phone slipped off the metisinno Magnetic Base, this left a pretty long scratch in my transparent case. I think this is because the material underneath the metisinno Magnetic Base is hard rather than soft. When removing the metisinno Magnetic Base, I suggest peeling it away from your case rather than sliding it off.

I was kind of upset when I upgraded to the S24 plus last week because I wanted the ability to use the magnet wireless charging but didn't want to give up my popgrip and wouldn't be able to do both with a regular popgrip. I decided to google some ideas and this popped up. I don't know why I didn't know this existed until a few days ago but I'm so excited that I am now able to have the best of both worlds. I can use my popgrip and pop it off anytime to do the wireless charging. The magnet is way stronger than expected and hasn't fallen off. It is easy to take off by just sliding it down. The popgrip sticks to this nice and strong and you can still change your popgrip tops. Very happy with this product. Just make sure you have a magsafe phone case.

I have an iPhone 13 - it has MagSafe but I just hadn't gotten the needed charging cord. I got that, then realized my beloved PopSocket going to be a major problem, as it was right smack in the middle of the space for the MagSafe. I tried putting it as low on the phone as I could and that was too low. I found this base and it arrived next day! I centered a new PopSocket on the base and it went right onto the MagSafe ring on the phone and that was it! It seems plenty sturdy on the phone, but able to remove easy enough to put on the charger. Very happy with it!!

I'm now on my third one of these as I loved them so much. The first two I purchased (one of each of the purple bases) were super strong, so I was surprised by some of the reviews stating that the magnetism could be stronger. Those first two were so strong that I had to use some effort to remove them, so it was hard to imagine. I could even walk holding my phone just by the popsocket attached to the magnetic base. That said, the last one I purchased (the clear) has a significantly weaker magnet than the prior two. It regularly slips off my phone if I hold it a certain way, and I can no longer trust holding my phone by the popsocket and base because it has fallen before. This is a bummer as that wasn't my experience with the the first two I purchased. It still works for what I need it for (I purchased the clear one to match a new iridescent phone case and popsocket that I purchased), but still bummed at the change in quality. Perhaps it's just the clear base and the color versions have better magnets, I'm not sure. But something to keep in mind.

Won't find this at the pop socket store.Fits perfectly with my carbon fibre cases.

So i thought i was just buying the magsafe plate that i would attach my own popsocket to. The mirrored part is actually a popsocket that is built into the plate. While it’s not what was pictured. I still find it helpful so im keeping it.

This disk beat my expectations. It holds very, very well. I am very happy with this and would gladly buy again when needed. Been over a month and no change thus far.
