This Betty Crocker Chicken Helper “Sweet and Sour Chicken” is truly amazing. I was looking for some easy to prepare meals and came upon this, and am thankful I listened to other reviewers. Preparation was simple. Other than adding some sautéed onions and peppers and diced canned pineapple, I followed the directions exactly- and it was delicious.Highly recommended! I’m hopeful other bulk Chicken Helper meals will be available on Amazon.com soon.

I get these all the time. I love to cook sw. and sour chicken and I add sweet pickles and pineapple. Publix around my area stopped selling it a long time ago. So I purchase a case of this every few months. And let me tell you this is as good as any good Chinese restaurant. Oh and try making it with sticky rice in a rice cooker that makes it even better.

I was so happy to find these. This is one of our favorites and was sad to find the are no longer making this. We have about a year supply now. 😊

I bought this at my grocery store for a year or two and then it disappeared. Was pleasantly surprised to find it on amazon and now I order it by the dozen and keep it in the pantry. Love how easy it is to make and everyone loves it.

I love this product, but the price has raised significantly - just a couple months ago I paid roughly $17 for 12 boxes of this, and now it is up to $28 - that is a huge increase in price! I bought them again anyway but I will be shopping around.Will always have these around the kitchen because they are a base to many different dishes. I love to add meat, refried beans, onions, tomatoes, green onions, chorizo, baccon, mushrooms to make the best burrito filling you ever tasted. This is also good as a side dish. Flavor is just right.

I used to buy this at Walmart and loved it but they stopped selling it so I was very happy to find this on amazon so the first box I opened was very good but the second box I opened when I went to cook the rice it was full of what looked like fruit fly's there was at lest 200 of them I was a little scared of trying anymore but I did and that box was OK so I love the product but I would not buy this again.

I know, boxed meals right? But no - these are extremely good! I cringed at powder potatoes, but they are super!! I still can't believe it. They literally take 5 minutes to make. The chicken of course is extremely easy to make - cut into strips, I dip them in milk, and a toddler could help if you put the breading into a bag to shake. The only complaint is that the meal could serve more people if that is all you are eating. We eat a "normal" size portion, and this is OK if you toss in a salad or other vegetable.

Add some chicken (any chicken!) to this boxed meal, and you have a scrumptious honey mustard chicken meal in about an hour. It does take a little longer to cook than some boxed meals, especially if you like your rice cooked down until it gets a softer texture. I like to add more water and cook an extra 10 - 15 minutes.You can shave some time off by using pre-cooked chicken instead of raw. Otherwise, I would definitely follow the instructions on the box, because I have tried short-cutting steps, and the honey mustard flavor just doesn't come out quite right. I wouldn't want to sacrifice that, since it really makes the meal!
